A worrying thing about the rise of social media such as twitter, facebook, popular forums and other forms of media is that more powerful governments seem to be using huge media teams to try and manipulate public opinion in their favour.Im not one for conspiracy theories but its just a trend I'm noticing from analysis of various sites. Propaganda has existed for a long time but its reached a whole new level imo.

You tell me why Israel would bomb a hospital because honestly.....i don't understand it at all, I don't know why they killed 4 kids on a deserted beach, I don't know why they bombed a house with 20+ members of the same family in it, I don't understand how the killing of 100 kids over the last week can be justified by you or anyone else.

JERUSALEM (JTA) — A civilian bringing food to Israeli soldiers near the Gaza border was the first Israeli killed by mortar fire from the Gaza Strip during Operation Protective Edge. The 37-year-old man was pronounced dead upon arrival at Barzilai Medical Center in Ashkelon on Tuesday afternoon; he had received emergency treatment in the field. He was visiting soldiers at the Erez border crossing when he was hit by mortar fire.
Odeh al-Waj, 32, a member of a Bedouin settlement in the Negev that is unrecognized by the Israeli government, was killed when a rocket exploded outside his shack on Saturday, and four members of his family were wounded, including an infant daughter who was in serious condition. Residents of the community told Israeli media that they did not receive the same protections, including sirens and shelters, as other communities because of their “unrecognized” status.
