Was thinking around that hoping maybe more!! Still have an itch for a Focus ST and is a nice one in Cork at moment too. Be some hassle tho selling Accord I guess but would need to as worth more than the ST really.

So if I was to sell the gtv, which is a daily driver, and has no mechanical issues and potentially had a 15 month nct, but needed a timing belt change in 8k miles what would you pay for it guys?

    It's a 00 with 137 miles

Trim car show? Didnt know of this...
I'll be heading to the NCBI show in Dublin16
Was gonna head to the mullingar show but couldnt be ar$ed getting up early.

The show in Columbas is pretty small, maybe 50 cars. Trim would be a better bet.

One needing timing belt I'd give 1300 for. One with everything done if be the sucker who'd give 2 plus. There's a few of us out their, but most of us already have them.
Put it this way, mines mechanically perfect and I'd want at least 2 before I'd let it go, as I don't have to sell

I'm always full of problems aren't I :P Should the colour of suspenders/braces and a dickie bow be the same, or does it matter?

I'd keep it the same unless youre a hipster dresser which case you shouldn't even be asking. :pac:
If it's a blacktie kind of event which by the now tie I'm guessing it is, then black for both works best, or you can get away with white braces and black bow tie.

It's a lads day out at the races actually. Want to avoid black, seeing as the suit is navy-ish and shoes are brown.

Of course you don't....old timer :pac:

JB4 is a hardware/software tuning program for the 335i. Basically I have to replace certain wiring harnesses in the ECU with the JB4 ones, route a USB cable from the ECU box into the engine bay or into the cabin via the glovebox.

I will have a program on my laptop with which I can load different maps onto the ECU to get more power. The turbos run 8.5 PSI each stock. There's different maps to increase the PSI all on safe levels for factory turbos etc.

There's even a map that you can load and over the course of say, 2 weeks driving, it logs all your operating info like outside temp, engine temp, fuel RON etc and maps itself!

I will have a program on my laptop with which I can load different maps onto the ECU to get more power. The turbos run 8.2 PSI each stock. There's different maps to increase the PSI all on safe levels for factory turbos etc.

Does it actually work? Apologies for being sceptical but surely for any significant increase, you'd need a remap on a rolling road? And most if these plug and play devices never work.

Oh it works alright! Even US cars have gained over 120bhp with stock turbos on their "premium" fuel which is our standard 95 AFAIK. They call 98-100 RON race fuel over there :pac:

Btw for true Geek heaven it needs an android interface;)

    This should be fun.

Remember that time your car died while your were remapping it, and you had to sit there for hours reloading the original map? :pac:

Gents, I can't remember what date I purchased my car, but it's at least 3 weeks, I think.

I still have no log book and Motor Tax says no change of ownership in the last three months.. should I start getting suspicious?
