Juventus announce the signing of Real Madrid's Spanish striker Alvaro Morata on a five-year deal. More soon.

Seems like Madrid have a buy back clause in the deal.Spanish clubs always look to have this,we should adopt this policy with some of our young players.

Analyzing Van Gaals policy on elevators alone I can see why he left Anderson behind. Really hope he can find a new club soon though rather than being an option for us.

Blackburn are interested in taking Michael Keane on loan again but VG apparently is waiting until seeing him play during the summer tour before deciding whether or not to put him out on loan.

That might spur Keane on to put in some good pre season performances. Can't wait for the opening game.

Ive only seen some of his games from his loan spells at Leicester and Blackburn over the last two years.

Definitely looks like a promising player and I could see him becoming a regular for United maybe in 2-3 years or so. Atm he is down the pecking order behind Evans, Jones, and Smalling. Hard to tell if Keane is good enough yet for Premiership football as it's a different level and a big step up.

The one thing though is VG has shown in the past that he likes giving the young lads chances. Not many people last year would have expected Januzaj's rise in the first team so you never know what could happen.

For a centre half its going to be difficult to break into the United side. I can't see him doing it without time in the EPL on loan.

Januzaj was playing positions were the margin for error is greater and where skill on the ball, pace can get you out of trouble.

Not sure any of the other centre backs at United would be capable of guiding him through a game, a young left back and relatively young Keeper, right full back makes it more difficult.

(above is why I would be happy with a strong player like de Jong coming in to play on front of them)

I really hope another centre half is on the way soon.

Apparently they are staying in the Beverly Hills Hotel, they are doing an open training at the Rose Bowl Stadium, think standard tickets are $20 and VIP are a few hundred.

EDIT: Think the open training is for only Tuesday

The 25-man squad landed in the United States on Saturday morning (2am BST) and Van Gaal, two days after being unveiled to the world's media as the new man at the Old Trafford helm, took his boys for a stroll on Santa Monica beach before heading to the Beverly Hills hotel where they will spend the next six nights.

right now, its simple numbers and we only have 3 center backs so Keane is in the shake up for the season and going off previous injury records, he will get 10+ games.

in saying that, i expect Vermaelen to be signed in the next week or so assuming there are no injury complications.

It's actually the Beverly Wilshire Hotel they're staying at. Different from the Beverly Hills Hotel.
