    Some time ago now.

It was 1981 if I remember correctly.
Myself and a rasta friend named Eddie were in Brixton when word got round that there were goings on in an part of Brixton known as electric avenue.
I was against going but Eddie insisted we go there and take it higher.
Deep in his heart he a warrior.

Both happened in 1999 and thankfully no incidents in my adult life (outside chippers, pubs etc.)

The last time for hitting and being hit for me came more recently than I care to remember.

Mild mannered enough but I wouldn't hesitate to get sideways with someone if I felt threatened, I'd be on them like B.O on a biker. It aint nothing for me to whoop another man's ass.

    :)

I got hit in town (Dublin city centre ) one night.
I won't go into details except to say it was completly my doing and fault.

But what was funny was I was knocked out cold and when I came round I woke up an looked up and there was a round of concerned faces looking down on me like what you see in films!!

A few minutes ago. I don't get angry a lot but sometimes when things build up I hit myself (hard enough to hurt, not so hard as to leave a visible mark) to try calm down.

My son hits me. Frequently. He is 2.

Last time I hit someone was about a year ago when some little b@stard was acting the bollix at my house. I went out and hit him a fairly decent box in the eye. He hasn't been back.

Last time I was hit was this evening, when my 5 year old daughter gave me an unannounced boot in the shin.

Some lad swung the most random and unexpected loaf at my mate outside a shop in town one night. He missed. I didn't.

Miss him that is, it wasn't a game of "who can loaf my mate the best".

Last lad I boxed, which was over a year ago now, was some cocky wanker getting thick at a lad for "looking like a fagg*t", someone pointed out that I was gay, so he turned and started laughing and telling loads of really crap gay jokes and slagging me, but in a dickish way. I laughed along until he got close enough then I decked him and broke his nose. The miserable little creature cowered away straight after that.

Delighted I put the cúnt in his place.

Last time I got punched was when I was fighting at 16.

Great story, needs more dragons though.

Believe what you want, it happened.

It's common enough to hear and see shít like that around. I'm happy he'll never do it again my company at least.

That's the one and only time I've broken anything on anybody. I was damn pleased tbh.

Yeah, you're a real tough guy. What a big man you are.

last time i hit someone was paddys day 2003
he was threatening my mate a taxi driver and he'd pressed the button on the radio so we'd know what was happening

last time i got hit was in 1995 when i realised that a fight with an english man 15 years older than you isn't about talking for a few minutes till we decide its on; its hey you, who me? bang

Yeah, you're a real tough guy. What a big man you are.

I don't claim to be, and I don't seek out fights. But if I've spent years in a gym, it's gonna help me in a fight.

Plus the fact that I haven't met a loud racist or homophobic person who wasn't a complete pussy when it came down to someone challenging him

    I've never hit anyone.

I got nutted by a cowardly scumbag cúnt in a nightclub when I was 21, he broke my nose and runs off, then a bouncer (the local "hard man" ) sees me covered in blood and nearly breaks my arm throwing me out.

Unfortunately this was before CCTV in clubs, nowadays I'd have both of them up on assault charges.

In my 70 years I have never been hit nor have hit anybody - I'm not sure if that's a good thing or quite pathetic really. :(

Not pathetic really, but not even at school?

A few weeks ago. I got drunk - really hammered and got some grub walking home. I was in a bad mood as England lost against Italy. I was walked past this fella about the same age as me and threw a chip at him. He asked why i did it and i attacked him - no better way to get rid of anger than a good fight.

Oh well least it was for a good reason

I'm sure you'll make a lovely adult one day.

The last time I got hit was when I was married to my ex-husband back in the mid-eighties.

I belted him back ..... had enough of it.

What was the biggest ass whoopin you ever took?

I remember I was savagely beaten in Hayes Thurles in 2006, had an orbit fracture, broken jaw, soft tissue damage in both arms and broken ribs. (I was brought down to ground and kicked)

That was the worst I ever got, my mother didn't even beat me that badly. All started over an innocent wisecrack and a pack of cigarettes.

Last year of school - it wasn't in Ireland, but was the equivalent of Sixth Year, around the time I turned 17. This other guy just started hating me and tried to bully me, and I had no idea why. I hadn't done anything to him specifically, but he was being egged-on by his friend. My mind was elsewhere, I thought I'd left that kind of crap behind years earlier.

It came to a head in a class, in front of a teacher. He hit me in the ribs, and I just walloped him in the face, breaking his nose. He ran out with blood everywhere, and the teacher (a former military guy) said ... nothing.

    Grow up there.
Was it in the laneway ?
Seen countless beatings and savage fights (sadly was involved in 1 or 2 ) in that laneway over the years . Was 2 deaths that I know about in that lane.

Jeez that must be a record, didn't think anyone would pass through school without a bit of argy bargy.

Different times perhaps but in the 50s most of us could sort things without resorting to hitting anybody.

You must be delighted at the way society has progressed :)

Last time I was hit, and kicked in the under crackers was 2002 as part of my job:mad:

Last time I hit anyone was late 70s in the army. That wasn't really a "fight" but milling* for recruit training.

    * Boxing but you aren't allowed to block and they weren't too pleased with any Ali dancing either.

When I was about 16 I was playing soccer with a load of teenage boys from my estate,
I used to be quite good for a girl and 1 lad got really mad when I kept getting around him so he kicked the leg off me, and then when I called him a cheat he punched me really hard in the face,
I went into a blind rage and punched the head off him he was left in a quivering heap with all the lads laughing at him.
Ive never been in another fight but it gives me great pleasure knowing I have it in me to defend myself so well if a situation arises again :)

Last night. A fella poked me in the eye so I punched him the jaw.

I don't think I've actually ever been punched. Last time I had the **** kicked out of me when I was about 7 and my 5 or so years older neighbour layed into me. He still lives across the road and I haven't spoken to him since.
Had a few people shove me and that kind of thing when out, and a few bouncers being heavy handed but never a punch and I've never hit back.
In my last year of school someone dunk tackled me in the middle of a class onto the corner of a wooden step-thing.. I saw red hopped up threw him down and was actually going to kerb stomp his head a la american history X when the teacher told me to stop. I got in no trouble and got to make the choice to let the guy off because he was a bit simple.
Saw the same guy after a night out with bloody knuckles because he knocked two guys out 'for the laugh'. Good thing I showed mercy and didn't get him in trouble or he would have hit me too!

I'd like to get into an actual fight just to see how i'd do, but at the same time I have no interest in getting the **** kicked out of me :P
