It's a BMW. A rare one at that. It's a 1967-68 1600 GT, previously the Glas GT, but BMW bought them, put their own engine in, and stuck their badge on it. I'd never seen one before.

Here's another rare beauty I spotted over there - a Lancia Appia GTS from 1957 (I think). Check out the double bubble roof and the lovely door handle design.

Seen 13-c-20 travelling away at 70+ km/h in West Cork this evening, have no idea what it was but was immaculate and looked solid as a rock on the road too... Have a photo but boards won't let me post it as says I'm a new user 😡 How many of today's cars will be still going like that at 101 years of age?
