I saw a bunch of 15,16 year olds drinking cans of beer the last night. I was absolutely disgusted. Has society really gotten to the point where people begin drinking at this age. They will all be alcoholics by the time they are 20.

Or maybe they'll get it out of their system now and move on

At least we did it in ditches or on abandoned building sites.

No it has been proven that drinking before the designated age of 18 can cause alcoholism

It doesn't. They are more responsible than stupid little pr**ks who think they're unreal for poisoning themselves. Are you trying to condone this sort of behaviour? Wow

As a Christian, I think that the legal age should be raised to 21 like in the US. This country is loosing its moral (religous) credibility fast.

Think you will find it's 18 to purchase alcohol not to consume it. Drinking at any age could cause you to become dependant usually people with addictive personalities.

So there is huge difference in the mental capacity of a 17 and 18 year old?

2/10 OP, no mention of Brooks or the dole.

Its the moral essence of the matter that worrys me the most. When I was young we respected the privileges that came with "being an adult" so to say.

15-16 is the standard age to start drinking and probably the best age as well - getting drunk on a nagan and a few cans and with zero responsibilities.

You hardly think everyone waits until they are 18 do you?

The MORALITY of drinking at the illegal age is what outrages me. At least I have the decency to respect our country's laws and be a moral and religous citizen.

Should have done more research before you travelled all the way from another galaxy

I was drinking at 13 and now at 34 I haven't drank in nearly 2 years so no it doesn't cause alcoholism.

    Lol.

This is awful. How dare they undermine the religous and law abiding citizens that preceded them.
