Gym in Dublin City Centre with Oly Lifting Platforms

    Hi all,

Moving to Dublin to work near Grand Canal Dock and looking for a gym in the city centre which has Olympic lifting/deadlift platforms (basically somewhere I can drop the bar and won't get told off). I don't have a car, so needs to be fairly easy for me to get to by walking or on my pushbike from GCD.

I've searched the board and a couple of people said Raw was a good gym for O lifters, but then someone else came along and said it wasn't set up for any O lifting...

Capital Strength and South Dublin Strength and Conditioning look okay - anyone got experience with them?

    Cheers

Check out FlyFit on Macken Street. They have platforms, bumper-plates, and enough space that you won't have people right on top of you.

    Flye Fit Macken Street

Bars aren't great for weightlifting tho.

Cheers guys - Hercules looks cool, but unfortunately opening at 10am is too late for me as I like to be lifting around 6.30am.

Hanley - what's wrong with the bars? Crappy bearings or...?
