Good. No people on the streets and no happy people indoors.

They get Princes. They find them by kissing frogs. It's a tradition thing ffs.
And then they are married and become King and Queen, and the Queen bears the King some heirs ...
    or so he believes.

Christ, it's not even July and talk of how there are signs of the summer ending. What a miserable bunch.

Hint: the thread title is from Game of Thrones, so if you haven't seen at least the first few episodes, you might not get the references ...

I like our winters anyway, it's not like we have to go through months of sub zero temps, snow and ice. I've a friend in Manitoba who said he's thinking of coming back home, he doesn't think he could stand another winter like they just had, which apparently was even bad by central Canadian standards.

    But, but, you're a Princess???

I also live in a country where Churches don't get to say who can enter into marriage contracts...

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

If you've worked for the haulage industry, on behalf of certain clients, you'll often start handling (artificial) Christmas Trees and Christmas Crackers, towards mid-July. They'll pass through the warehouse, to be put into storage, for that, 'Jolly Season'.. :o

I'm thinking about legally changing my surname to Lannister so when I give people my name they'll say "I hated that character in Game Of Thrones!". :D

Let's face it, Ditch - this is really all about you and me getting Xbox Ones. The rest are simply there to help us get through those doors...

It horrifies me that people are posting spoilers in the comments section of CNN in articles related to the success of ISIS in Iraq.

If people really care that much about spoilers they should have read the books. :o
