There was lots of snow, and it was pretty cold. But I adored it because I kept taking huge walks in the middle of the night/early morning, there was nobody around and everything was blanketed in snow, it just looked unbelievably beautiful. I'd walk and walk and there wouldn't be another soul in sight. I really loved that winter.

I like our winters anyway, it's not like we have to go through months of sub zero temps, snow and ice. I've a friend in Manitoba who said he's thinking of coming back home, he doesn't think he could stand another winter like they just had, which apparently was even bad by central Canadian standards.
