Tell you what when I get the bench ill test it with some weight . So how much do you think this piece of crap will take before it crumbles like a wet cardboard box then ? You must have a good idea .

No idea and I don't recommend you should risk your life to test it.

So you think this bench will be solid as a rock, seriously?

Ill test it with plates on it dude . Cant see why it wont be a solid bench its coming from a reputable seller on amazon has good reviews stating its solid. Not sure a company would be leaving themselves wide open like that with a degree of confidence in the product. As I said ill test it whats your prediction ?

8 KG boxed weight and 500 kg capacity , what is this bench made of ?
Specs on amazon are often wrong. You can use google image search to see if the same bench is anywhere else

Here is the pic of the alleged 8kg bench

Here is one on ebay which beside the orange trim looks identical.

Many of these factories would be outputting the same stuff.

    Amazon spec
    - Quality white powder coated steel construction
    - Extra strong 1.5mm thickness Q195 steel frame
    - Padded PU bench for comfortable training
    - None-slip floor pads
    - Easy to assemble

    Specification:
    - Condition: brand new
    - Colour: black with orange
    - Material: PU+70D Sponge+ Q195 Steel Frame
    - Dimensions: 112*58*42CM
    - Padded bench size: 110x30x4.5CM
    - Padded bench thickness: 4.5CM
    - Maximum Total Load for this item: 500 kg

    ebay spec
    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Flat-Bench-Press-Dumbbell-Barbell-Chest-Multi-Gym-Weight-Lifting-Benches-Olympic-/290909478370
Quality white powder coated steel construction
Extra strong 1.5mm thickness Q195 steel frame
Padded PU bench for comfortable training
    None-slip floor pads
    Easy to assemble

    Specification
    Condition: Brand New
    Colour: Black with White
    Material: PU+70D Sponge + Q195 Steel Frame
    Dimensions: 112 x 58 x 42cm
    Padded Bench Size: 110 x 30 x 4.5cm
    Padded Bench Thickness: 4.5cm
    Weight: 14.55kg
    Maximum Total Load: 300kg

So very similar looking spec listing too, with same steel type & thickness, but different max load stated. My guess is he might have got the 8kg weight wrong and is spoofing about the max load. I doubt it would fail at 500kg anyway, its not like its a cage or even a portable squat rack which will experience massive loads if a bar is dropped on them.
