Paddy Power have a market up on whether he'll be banned or not.

    Crummy odds.

He was a "liability" last season and knocked in over 30 league goals

The big worry for me is that he's shown he can't change. Question now becomes do we think he'll last 3-4 seasons without another incident at Liverpool? Hard to answer, but if he doesn't then he's looking at a very lengthy ban. I wouldn't get rid of him per say, but I think it definitely makes me more inclined to accept a very large bid for him.

I would personally give him the same stick I give any other dirty player. But if John Terry played for Liverpool and was banging in 30+ goals each season I could turn a blind eye to his personality

Personally, I find considered and conscious immoral behaviour worse than unconcious lunacy.

Learning that Suarez cheated on his wife or something like that would affect my opinion of him far more than these outbursts of his.

If Glen Johnson had bit Chiellini I for one would demand his sacking with immediate effect.

I'm just curious what your thoughts would be on him if he wasn't a Liverpool player?

Thoughts on him tonight? The same, it was ridiculous and throw him a lengthy ban from the international team.

You describe it mildly as his personality .. He's biting other players ! But I see that regardless of his actions , as long as he's scoring goals it's all fine from your point iof view. How about the reputation of a great club ? It's basically assault .

Tough week for Kolo and Yaya losing their brother. I hope they do well tonight.

So is head butting a player.. Would you sell someone who did that 3 times if they're as good as Suarez is?!?

Isn't it convenient that anytime something retarded at big odds happens these days that there's some big man somewhere who has lumped on it. Bollocks

People who bet on such things are breaking evens at best when they get a big winner, as someone who worked in the industry, trust me on that.

You're lucky he isn't an Arsenal player or he would be going for his 4th bite.
Is there a trophy for that now as well:confused:

Yep...another season highlight is biting more players than Spurs do.

So is going in studs up on someone's leg...
I don't hear the clamour for 2 year or lifetime bans for that and it happens every week.

Even if you look at someone like Pepe, who as far as I know hasn't generally hurt people.

If we had him in our team my desire to see him get the boot would be entirely down to how likely he is to get sent off and the negative effects on the team.

For all the handwringing about how people act on the pitch, as long as they're not injuring people it really doesn't matter a toss.

His value could well plummet to below what his release clause is now. That's probably good overall for Pool. He is more likely to stay another season.

God knows what he'll do when Liverpool need a goal in the final of the Champions League next June.

I agree. In fact I am very confident he will stay after this. I have a feeling he wouldn't fit at Barca or Real in light of this incident.

Zidane headbutted an Italian and was hailed a hero. Suarez allegedly bit an Italian...there should be a similar reaction.

It's not. He should be punished but you don't sell the best striker on the world unless you have to or get an offer you can't refuse. What good is dumping him and finishing 6th...

Good point, he did Chielini a favour really. Studs up his leg could have put him out of the next game but a bite on the shoulder only needs a plaster.

Is it even a real offence?

That was before he bit another player for the THIRD time, he obviously didn't learn from his last ban, or he has some sort of issue.

Dont get me wrong, when I seen the goals being banged in, and thought what could have been if he hadn't been banned, I slowly got over and forgot the incident. But this kind of behaviour, make me wonder again if he is the sort of player I want to see play for a club I have followed for so long.

The World Cup is a shop window for clubs and for player to show their play, they see this happening for a third time, and wonder if its the kind of player they want as well.
