Both have extremists. Both are mostly composed ordinary feckers getting on with their existence. So no, not really, though the Sunni extremists are the Bin Laden/'shopping centre near you' type.

Cool, which ones are in Clonskeagh? And should I fear them?

I guess the lesson here is we fear what we don't know and sometimes the monster in the mosque is really just a man like you and me.

On the upside, an AK round of ammo is making €3 in Iraq atm, as opposed to the standard 0.30c a piece, and an AK itself is almost impossible to buy as opposed to the €300 they usually go for.

Modern day Victor Bouts are cleaning up. Or the current Sarkis Soghanalian. An interesting google...

i was going to say "take this to the Islam forum", but if you take a look there, you'll note a total absence of any sort of discussion about the current situation in Syria & Iraq. It would be impossible to discuss the news without it reflecting badly on Islam, and that would be against the forum charter.

But, but, it's the religion of love, not charging interest and killing those who won't join. Tolerance? Not half.

most islamis terrorist groups are sunni, funded by the Saudis.

shia are found in Iraq/iran, Syria, Lebanon (Hezbollah)

All very peaceful countries untainted by extremism....

Are there not Numerous Muslim sects Almost as numerous as Christian ?
Yep, about a 100 apparently, generally the hatred among them is immense.

Sunnis follow the teachings of Allah as given by Mohammed, so they came first. When he died, his family and sons-in-law basically continued and convinced people to follow their ways, these became Shi'tes.

In some places, such as Saudi Arabia, they use an interpretation of the Koran by Sheikh Al-Wahhab about 300 years ago.

So there you go OP. you can now pretend that you know something about the situation :)

they own the politicans and the media in the UK/US

they also build and control far too many mosques in the west

    pure scum

but their days are numbered IMO there will be a revolution in saudi arabia in the next 5 or ten years

The one on the left is sunni and the one on the right is shia.

It is a long held belief that the one on the right used to be a sunni…
