I dont know, its now the son that contacts me, I just want this to be over fast and get back to driving again, I might try and request a courtesy car or something as not having transport is a Pain in the behind.

I'm sure you're fully entitled to one

    definitly.

last time i went to the repairer they insisted on me taking a car. "ah you sure ? . i mean theres no hassle if you want one for as long as you need, theres plenty in the garage there to use and sure enterprise is only around the corner if we need more, sure ya might aswell !"

probably more cash in it for them, but sure enough i took it :D

Holy crap, if you build me those I'd order 5 right now! :D
    I really love them.
Just make the final product 4x100. :p

If I get a new job in the next month or two I'm really, REALLY going to need something that wide. ;)

Got my log book today BTW, it's finally my car. :D

Seriously warm today. All I'll say is thank god I held out for a decent spec golf that actually has aircon. Even better it works too no regas or nothing turn it on and almost straightaway nice cold air. I was in the octavia last night and it was roasting with its banjaxed aircon literally doesn't work at all. When you go out and pop the bonnet and look down at the air con rad it looks like someone bet the sh!t out of it with hammer  no wonder it leaked all the gas out. Anyway it's getting a new one in the next few days and the protector kit so hopefully it will last a bit better.

And for something a bit sad.

Just buried my lovely cat there. Clipped by a car. All very sudden. :(

Take it handy on the country roads people, too many animals about.

    That's horrible, man.
    I'm a serious pet person so I get it, it's horrible. :(

Narrowly avoided a suicidal sheep on the military road yesterday.

I don't usually complain about the weather, but it was just too damn hot today at times.

Everyone at work today was just a bag of sweat even though it's inside it was roasting very hard to do any kind of physical work in the heat.

Ya I think so, it was suggested that that stuff gets rid of the "run" stains from rust spots on a cars paintwork. I wonder if it is something widely available in a motor factors - want to get it tomorrow.

Not something you'll be able to get in a motor factors I'm afraid. To remove stains like that before I used polish (well Meguires ultimate compound then autoglym SRP). Have you tried polish?

So what was the story with this? Did it actually affect the performance of the car or just give a placebo effect?

Might be worth doing for the rundown E39 I plan on picking up, I'm sure there's years of crap in that engine.

I do all my own servicing and I put it down in the service book. I also have every receipt for everything I bought from wiper covers to turbos. I know some people will say "oh shur I did it meself no boddur lad" but do they have proof? I consider my receipts to be the proof.

I never sold a car before. Does this ad look alright, or am I overlooking something obvious?
