What do *you* do in between sets?

    You're weight training at the gym, people all around, and your programme involves 60 second breaks, 90 second, or god forbid 2-5 minutes in between sets. How do you occupy your time in between sets?

    I put in another exercise, or two. Mix it up with upper body push/lower body pull etc maybe a simple core exercise - swiss ball knee tucks etc

    More sets. Time is often at a premium in the morning so I combine exercises. So a set of arms, followed by a set of legs, back to arms, etc

    If I'm doing bench press and I know my next exercise is going to be Rows, I start doing my light warm up sets for the rows in between my work sets for the bench. Doesn't interfere with my bench performance at all and then I'm ready to go straight into the work sets on rows after.

    Also, if your doing pressing exercises. I sometimes do light scap work like band pull aparts or face pulls during the rests.
