    The weather man and/or woman who lead me to believe that today was going to be a beautiful warm sunny day. It's been the coolest start to an afternoon this week.

    Getting a disease that mainly affects children! I stopped being a child a long, long time ago! Blisters on fingers so even typing is annoying! Short mild illness my eye. Since when is any illness short or mild to the person suffering!

    Yeah - just back from my trusty physio - some alignment issues, a lot of clicking down along my back and some fairly decent knots around the glute area to work on but good to go again tomorrow - happy days - not sure if the body or the mental health needs it more at this stage :D

    Premature rave :(

    Osaat Marathon Bands
    Just saw this pop up on Facebook. I don't know what is worse: the fact that they are trying to sell a piece of tat for €40 or the fact that some people have their head so far up their arse that they want to spend that money to display their 'achievement' on their wrist.

    From the blurb:
    The number 2 Cyan marathon band

    This is the band that stands for the fact that you are now a multiple marathon runner.

    The Cyan two band means you have 2 marathon races to compare your times on the OSAAT club. The OSAAT club is for marathon runners only and when you realise that 99% of the world’s population are ineligible to join, you realise you are part of an elite club.

    Wear the cyan number 2 band with pride and the next time you come across a little stumbling block in life, remember your marathon journey and success!!

    :rolleyes::rolleyes: Jesus

    It might make you feel better to hear the other day I was told to lay off running for a few days because of what is basically a bruised nut! I was given these crazy drugs that are also used for the treatment of anthrax, but has the bloody side affect of causing tendinitis or tendon rupture for months after.

    That sounds like a nightmare - did they tell you that before you took the meds ? Must have been some bruise :eek:

    The two kids were in the bed after a restless night, I was determined not to wake them so basically lay in the same position on my side for hours, resulting in pressure on one of the dangly lads which I wasn't aware of until I woke. Can't remember the medical name but apparently it's common enough.

    And nope, wasn't informed of that particular side affect, Google told me.

    Can understand the kids angle - have done it myself (but no dangly bits to bruise :) ). Good luck with it.
