Its as if its beneath them to walk any distance, as their needs are more important than yours....

And of course they always have to get a cone! Along with ten million other people!

Referees and players before games, they don't shake hands they do that buddy type handshake, you know the hand clasp type thing. Have some bloody professionalism and shake properly you'd don't see business folk going into meetings doing that.

No indeed. But you'd be amazed what goes on in boardrooms away from the prying, unwashed eye-sockets of the hoi-polloi. For example, Larry Ellison's acquisition of Sun Microsystems started during a Phi Kappa Delta reunion kegger. Chug! Chug! Chug!! :D

I recently finished a training course, had to sign on in the meantime. On my way to the desk for an appointment I was scheduled for (Half 11), a cheeky pr*ck walked shoved passed me and proceeded to plant his arse at the desk I was going to. So, I awkwardly sat down in the waiting area a bit away from this desk, and I overheard this guy's discussion.

Not meaning to be nosey or anything but he was rather loud.

He said "I was meant to be here at half 10 but *enter excuse here*" (I couldn't remember his excuse). The woman politely told him that he would need to reschedule another appointment as she has already scheduled someone in for 11.30 and there was nothing she could do to help. She apologized numerous times for his inconvenience (not that he was entitled to get his LATE appointment, but anyway), and he shoved the chair out behind him, making a loud screech with the legs, and started shouting and bawling obsenities "the whole fcking system is a load of sh1t, you're all a bunch of stuck up b4stards" etc.

I was stunned and felt very uncomfortable. Thought he was going to belt someone on his way out.

My trivial issue is there was absolutely no need for an attitude like that. It makes me depressed I have to do this before I find myself the job I trained for. Pray to god I'm out of it quicker than I went in.

    ----

Another issue I have is people (mostly heard from women) doing that sudden *gasp* when acknowledging someone's statement or conversation. What is it? And why do they do it?!

There is a spider inside my monitor. Its just wandering around my screen as I type. Doesnt seem to be too happy to be in there

Hold up your mouse in front of the monitor.

    Spiders hate mice.

UNBELIEVEABLE but that clip actually hit the nail on the head too many times....Take even the Glenroe music playing followed by the ''crap I forgot my homework'' .... Glenroe always aired Sunday night late in the evening closer and closer to the dreaded Monday morning.

Oh Cheeses is that chock-full of textbook stuff! :pac::pac::pac:

Well, simple as this: one man likes Tayto crisps, the other lad likes King!

"Let me tell you the story, twenty-two verses long, about a woman who dildo-ed and didled along..." Ah for fuck sake!!

Why is it that the minute you get excited about the future and things start looking up something has to go wrong!? :(

It's called Sod's Law - anything that cannot possibly go wrong is rather likely to go wrong immediately, if not sooner. 'Srongitchagel??

I seem to be hitting Sod's Law hard this week, well, last week, but last week was more Murphy's Law, this week is Sod's Law. Not helped of course by the fact that I bought a pack of smokes this morning and they must have fallen out of my pocket five minutes later!

I swear, next person that says "sorrray", "sorry", or any variation thereof, they're due a smack! I can't hack people apologizing for nothing, and then when the shìt really hits the fan they're the first people will come out with "well it wasn't MY fault", "nobody died", etc.

Just... I should really invest in one of those padded rooms, bounce off the walls for a bit, and then come out stress free! :D

I will most likely have to go home early today as I am not feeling too well....

I was on another thread earlier, just after my breakfast, and someone mentioned the "Mooncup", and I, being a nosey git, had to go off and check to see what it is. I may be absent for the rest of the week.

I can do better. Saturday night I was laying on the bed reading. I felt a slight movement on my boobs and thought it might be a stray hair, when I looked down there was one of those huge scrawny gangly spiders walking across my chest:eek::eek: We keep a pint glass upstairs for spider related incidents so it was put safely out the window to go on it's merry way.

Did you check to see if there was a camera attached to the spider....that could have been your creepy blanket on lap neighbours spy(der) cam getting a close up of your hooters :pac:

Don't even go there:D, I've to put woodstain on the gate today or tomorrow and I just know he'll be back out with his beady little eyes. Although I've just noticed a few doors up there's a teenage girl in very little sunbathing in her garden, I'll be safe to do it today as his attention will probably be focused on younger prey:)

It would be wrong not to bake 2 cakes.

You could leave the dough outside in this heat and they'll bake on their own!

*childhood memories of making dung cakes from cow pats, using a wheelbarrow for a mixing bowl*

In fairness, they made great frisbees! :pac:

I think my flatmates are caked out (achievement unlocked!) at the moment and there are not many people in the office this week either so I'm not sure who's gonna eat it! :o

I am just listening to some little twelve year old sh1t, screaming down his pone at his mother "NO MOM, YOU LISTEN. I TOLD YOU I WAS GOING TO GLEN'S! I HAVE MONEY AND I DONT CARE IF YOU TELL DAD, SO SHUTTUP"

Makes you long for the days when one could "physically" educate a child.
