I want Griezmann. He would fit in perfectly.

He is rapidly playing his way out of our price range unfortunately.

Its funny watching Sakho in a match I don't care about, he still looks like he is going to lose the ball but still his passes get through. But I can enjoy watching him without freaking out.

Sahkos pass completion stats in this game should be very high.

He hasn't done that much tonight.

He hasn't been bad by any means but it's not like he's scored all their goals.

    It always is.

I think the thing with Sakho is you just have to get over the fact he looks like one of the cast of Thunderbirds on the ball. He is a very good passer with a very good eye for a pass. Needs to tighten up his control a bit though.

Brendan we have joked that you read this thread but please if you really do....Please please please go out and break the bank for Ricardo Rodriguez!!!

He hasn't been the same since he broke up with Del Rio. id stay well clear.

I have seen a few of his recent games and he has impressed. I didn't see much of tonight's game unfortunately.

The problem with Sakho is that because he looks so awkward in possession you close your eyes as soon as he touches the ball, and when you open them you have no idea what happened so you naturally assume he's given it away.

Oh Maxi, Maxi Rodriguez runs down the wing for me.

And the mighty Masch in midfield..

You know its a Sunday night when you hear the heartbeats song.

One of my favourite Liverpool chants, that one.

Can't wait for when Sakho starts pissing over all the doubters, proving them all wrong soon. Lad is gonna be great cb for years to come

I can't understand why there is so much criticism aimed at Sakho. Any game I saw him play in his passing rate was damn near 100%. He does sometimes look awkward but I would rather him as CB than Skyrtel or Agger anyday. I think you're right Fowler, he's gonna be great for many years.

I think the criticism is fair tbh. He may become a great red in the future but as of now, I'd find it hard to choose him over over Agger for a starting place to play alongside skrtel.

I like Agger but he hasn't been the same since he lost his place in the starting 11. I would prefer him over Skrtel but I don't think BR feels the same. We need someone who can take charge in defence but I don't know if we have anyone like that. Hopefully Sakho can become that man, but that will take a while I'd say.

You won't have to choose, Agger is getting sold

If agger and Lucas get sold this summer, who would ye pick as our vice Captain?

Maybe a bold call, but I'd give it to Lambert ahead of Suarez. He genuinely loves the club and I reckon he'd rather break his leg before he lets down the fans. I think he'll be a cult hero for the next few years.

Very bold considering he won't even be first choice. He can captain the bench?

Anything over Suarez would be an insult to the lad. He's broke his balls the last year for the club. If he isn't made vice captain there would be murder.

Couldn't agree more. It's a story of retribution as well. We stuck by him, and he really cares about the club. And he's inspires those around him. Might also stop his eye from wandering towards central Spain...

Wait punishing him by making him vice captain isn't the way to go

    Redemption on the other hand....

    ;)

    Agger managed it :pac:

Suarez should be vice captain, for me. I imagine Sakho will make a push for it in a year or two as well.

This is an argument that I keep hearing and I don't understand. Commentators keep saying that you have to prove yourself at the world cup as it is the highest stage. Now I know it has most people watching, but surely club football is a more difficult stage to prove yourself on considering that teams can be picked and chosen from anywhere

I see Woy went to the same mind games school as David Moyes.

I don't think he is a mind-games type of coach, he ACTUALLY believes this..

Ya, a real judge of talent Roy is. The same man that calls Wayne Rooney world class and brought trash like Konchesky and Poulsen to Liverpool also. 2 of the worst players I ever saw in a Liverpool jersey.

But...but....I thought he just said you have to play well in a Wo....

    ...never mind!

Its a morale boost and nothing more, hes hardly going to turn around and say hes the best hes ever seen.

That would do England no favours :)
