I don't know if anyone is going to Superdrift tomorrow, but we've entered and are way out of our depth.
If you're there come find the Hyland's Sawmills S14a :)

On the road at 2:45am :)

Just looking for ye're opinions on what I should advertise this for, SHOULD we sell it, nothing definite, might not happen at all...

    2003 Peugeot 206 1.1 Petrol
    NCT End of March 2015
    Tax Feb 2015
    Running perfect
Fully serviced in March - partial service history from 2003 - 2006 and from 2012 onwards
    77,000 miles
Motorcheck Report as of January 2013 - probably doesn't make a difference
    OEM wheel trims
    New Battery
Timing Belt as of 70,000 afaik - the stupid garage put their stamp right over the mileage so can't see for sure - could ring to confirm though
Plugs, pollen and air filters @70k
    4 Decent tyres
    Immaculate condition inside
Very good outside too, few marks noting major.

What would you advertise it for, without being cheeky!

Ya, I've been looking on DD alright, would like 2k so maybe advertising it for 2150 or something.. bought it for 1800 18 months ago, so it might be appreciating in value :pac:

Just after a quick glance on donedeal that seems like the higher side of prices but then if it's clean taxed and tested it should make good money. No harm to start high and drop it back specially if your not in a rush to sell it. Is this the car your talking about replacing with a golf if you do decide to sell it.

Tis surely, will be spending a bit less time in the Mondeo come September, and I sure as hell won't be happy if I have to spend it in the 206!!

CHP, did I see you coming onto the roundabout at the M50 there about a half hour ago? Wine carina with yellow rear plates.

In other news, does anyone on here want a free 2000 Ford Fiesta? Was on my way to look at a car in Wicklow and the water pump and head gasket went on the M50 at Palmerstown. Its in the garage just off the M50, guy said it was alright there for 24 hours. One rusty arche and I've lost the book too. It gets scrapped this evening otherwise.

AND, the owner dropped the ****ing bonnet of the car we were looking at on my head :pac:

If you are involved in a 3 car accident and are the car at the front being hit from the rear only

Who do you claim from ?

Middle car who hit you or car at back ?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,830 ✭✭✭✭MuppetCheck

You claim from whoever hit you.

Technically you claim from the car behind who in turn claims for yours and his damage from the car that hit him.

This is one of those times where you need to elaborate.

    Indeed .....

I was driving from home to finglas to go to the driving lesson.

I was sitting at a red light in phibsboro in traffic.

Brakes applied and felt a good joult from behind.

Engine off, got out, asked the person behind me was she ok... typical dublin oulwan giving mouth shouting blame straight away, so I went to the car at the back who had hit into the other car by acccident. Madr sure she was ok before getting into the details etc.

She was a little shaken from it and was worried about the oulwan giving all talk so I calmed her a bit with the usual not to worry it'll be fine, relax there for a bit.

she had crashed into the car in front whcih in turn then hit me... but my brakes were on so I didnt hit the car infront of me ! ( a point I'll be making very clear)

Anyway, gardai called, details swapped, plenty of pics taking by yours truly and away we went.

then I attended my driving lesson on the coach/bus !

My car has very little cosmetic damage , rear bumper only minor scratches and mixed paint now.

Middle car sandwhiched bit of damage and car at rear front bumper bonnet and maybe a light and wing.

But everyone was alright which is the main part.

My lower back was sore initially but getting better through the day so won't be claiming it unless they want to give me a sweedish message :V

My bus lesson went well afterwards. Was instructed to apply for my test.
Good test route involving driving in the city ! :)
