Only a matter of time until 1 to 11 bar RVP get mentioned.

Personally id love to see two or three of their young players turn up at OT next season with maybe two more established players being bought in as well.
dutch play the game beautifully.... so if we sign some dutch talent YES PLEASE

    ^ YESH PLEASH fyp

That was the most enjoyable game of football I've seen in quite some time. It's like last season is becoming just a fading, bad memory :)

    I'm partial to your abracadabra
I'm raptured by the joy of it all

I've always been a fan of the way the Dutch play football. Was supporting them in the 2010 WC and it was great, bar the final. But they made up for that today.

I'd be very excited if LVG was planning to get some Dutch lads in.

Wouldn't mind Blind at all if the Shaw deal doesn't go through.

Can play defensive midfield as well, which is a bonus

Very interesting to see Medel play centre back. He s tiny in comparison to your average centre back. With one forward being played up top these days by a lot of sides the role of the centre back is changing. Much more emphasis on passing ability, one of the pair is more akin to a defensive mid player.

Chile seem to have plenty of pace and energy. Spain are in a bit of trouble in this group.

Medal gets exposed as I read this.

Probably only a matter of time before Daley Blind gets a press mention as a United transfer target.

    Thought he already had?

Along with Martins Indi, Robben, Clasie, De Vrij, De Jong, Depay, Wijnaldum

I've been out for a while......

Why was the old Manchester United superthread locked and replaced with a Dutch superthread? :D

Martins, vlaar are real options in my opinion.
Blind would cost a fraction of what shaw would cost. It would make sense.
Midfield will be interesting. Break the bank for vidal

Barca do it and get exposed too. I suppose they figure as I presume Chile did tonight that they ll have 70% of the possession so the fact that the second CB can step into mid is worth the risk

Get a player like Gustavo. Midfield and defence. Perfect for hat role. Sold for 16 million last summer. ...

Ah if its a regular thing he does, those kind of bets, I would imagine he is still well down so don't feel too jealous of him.

That's cool. I think he'd would have been a good signing. How many goals down the middle would he have cut out last season.?
But yeah. Everyone has different views on players.
See vidal, despite recovering from inherit, for the second goal? That's why we need him

It all depends on who you pair a player with. Lot of athletico players would be average. It's about a team

Luiz Gustavo is the exact type of player that if he was at United people would be complaining about him not being good enough 'for a club of uniteds stature'.

People will complain. And he would be a waste, unless there's a strootman, vidal, or similar. Stick him with carrick and he would be classes as ****

Off topic, some of the Australian players sound more irish than the irish: Milligan!
