True but are the body counts anywhere near what they are when a gun is used. I find it interesting pro gun people in the USA saying the solution is more guns. Not saying you, If more guns was the solution why don't you get these people taken down by other members of the public as soon as they start firing ? Seems to me that all more guns do is give easy access to guns to go on rampages.

See my edited post. As i said generally this was an extreme example of what could be achieved by multiple men with bladed weapons. I highly doubt someone without any bladed weapon combat training could come anywhere near that. is a little dishonest to say there generally as dangerous as guns. As if they were why would solders bother with guns and not just use bladed weapons....

And were talking about mass shootings in America.

Plenty of the public in America are armed yet you still get mass shootings that's what I'm trying to point out. So why is the answer more guns that's what i don't get

When they were initially drawn up, the brand new nation had just fought an empire for its independence and thought it'd be handy to have a standing militia to protect itself. 200+ years later, when they are the empire... not so handy.
