Sakho playing for France against Jamaica currently 2-0 up.

Re Sanchez - the then City coaches went into his love of tennis and playing the piano or something like that!

    Bojan.

    Sanchez

Which is code name for Moses. The prodigal forehead shall return to complete his quest to score 20 goals in a season. Hurray.

Estadio Deportivo (Seville based paper) saying Moreno and his dad are on their way to Liverpool now to finalise the deal.

Watching soccer aid I miss carra. Badly need a leader at the back like him. Retired too early IMO.

Sakho is looking like a real leader for France at the moment, himself and Varane are looking like a very good partnership. One of the problems the defence had last year was the defenders dropping deep, but if you watch France, Sakho is more than likely the deepest defender and because Varane keeps ahead of Sakho they are holding a proper line.

Realistically one would have to imagine that Sanchez will cost at least 30M. The type of signing we need if we want to keep up with the likes of Chelsea and City next season.

Speaking of Moses.....Luke Shaw stated over the last day or two that Victor Moses was his toughest opponent he has faced.

I would love us to try for Varane (Madrid would never sell unless). Sakho and Varane at the centre for us over the next 5 years would be awesome.

Honestly with carra last season I think we would have won the league. We were tough and hard in midfield and upfront but soft as ****e in defence. For as hard as skrtel looks he lacks balls.

Communication was the biggest problem which led to poor organisation. Skrtel can't organise a defence. Basic mistakes toure and skrtel made you would never see carra make them.

I still don't know why he retired he looked in top form the season before.

Suarez would have to go the other way for that to happen unfortunately. Ancelotti and Zizou are very high on him too.

Of those three I would have Sanchez every single time first then Lallana and then Shaqiri.

But what the hell why not try to get all three. I would much rather we spent money on them than the likes of Aspas Alberto and Assaidi.

Sanchez, Shaqiri and Lallana for me.

Barca English language forum thread about Sanchez, it seems he is one of those players who divides opinion but also with much debate about how best to use him.

The one thing I that always comes to mind when I think of Sanchez and Barca is the dressing down Messi was supposed to have given him to let Sanchez that he was not star of the show here.

If that is true Sanchez best may come somewhere else and if he got the right offer (from us hopefully) he might be open to a transfer.

    Carras' legs were gone.

The season before he retired our defense played so so deep that there was huge gaps between defense and midfield and midfield and attack. It would have meant our attack would have little support from midfield so fewer goals scored too IF he was able to shore up our defense.

Ah, it's busy when something v good or v bad happens!

So if Moreno is coming, that's an excellent start. All we really need then is another attacking player/midfielder, and a CB if we are shipping one out. Also some rumours that Porto want Suso, I wouldn't be shocked it we let him go...
