    Hi,
I'm in my 40's and have a problem with thinning hair.
I've been taking a supplement called head high and nioxin shampoo and conditioner but I haven't noticed a difference as yet.
I was thinking of buying the Viviscal tablets but they are very expensive.
I don't mind paying out for them, if I thought they would work.

Has anybody tried them and if yes would they recommend them?
I need to do something as its really getting me down.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated

    Hello,

I'm sorry to hear that you're going through this. A while back, I experienced stress-related alopecia. It was an all-over thinning. I'm not sure about Viviscal but I used Nourkrin . I'm pretty sure they're extremely similar. Anyway, I can honestly say that it really helped with promoting strong regrowth and stopped the thinning. They're a available in Boots on 3 for 2 so it works out about €100 for 3 months. I wish you all the luck as I know it can be a difficult time. Take care of yourself .

Thank you so much Rainbow Bright for your reply. It's great to hear some positive feedback on a product that works.
I knew there was another product on the market but I just couldn't think of the name.
Also that's great advice about getting it from boots with the 3 for 2. €100 for 3 months is not bad.
I'll start taking them this week. Watch out for a follow reply in about 3 months from me to let you know how I got on.
Thanks again, you've really cheered me up!

I'd love to hear how you're getting on. It takes a little while for them to start working so hang in there. x

I had thinning hair for about five years, it began as a hormonal thing but took a long time to remedy even when that was sorted. I tried all kinds of stuff. Because it takes so long to see any result I never felt any product in particular was brilliant. Nothing had pronounced results.

The biggest improvement for me has come through a better diet, in particular increased protein.
