No, the current ticket buying system is unfair and a lot of people don't have the chance to get their hands on some. If I can make someones year and get a few hundred pound in my pocket then It's win win.

Mod: Lads, this isn't the place to buy and sell tickets. Especially if you're selling them over the odds. Do not ask for, or offer tickets in this forum.

And any more posts like the above will be considered trolling and will be met with a ban.
    Likewise for any touting posts.

I would say that's extremely unlikely given the rate at which tickets sold, the amount of shows they are now running, and the fact they've 3 Irish fighters. Their whole new business model is built around making local stars.

I can't understand the people complaining about ticket prices. Clearly the price is fair because they've sold all the tickets. If anything, I was surprised on the low end. Tickets for the Germany card last week started at €100, whereas I believe there were tickets for this for €50. I'd budgeted to spend a minimum €300 on a pair, so for €250 I feel like I've got a deal.

I think so man i was at the last ufc in dublin ufc 93 and tickets sold out fast for that aswell. the crowd was unreal then and they said they will come back soon and that was 5 years ago 2009.

I know they ahve more shows now but i think we will be screwed over again and have to wait another long stretch before it comes back unless conor does something special and win a title and defend it for a long period

Nah it absolutely won't be 5 years. UFC are big into developing new markets (sure Saturday was the first time they ran two shows in the same day) this year and there's a limited amount of markets they have penetration, Ireland clearly being one of them. I wouldn't be surprised if it became a yearly deal, at least while business is booming for them.

People complaining about tickets, any real UFC fan would have joined the fight club and bought there tickets 10am on the day of the pre sale, they would have gotten there tickets no hassle no drama

I did have the presale FC link but no way in hell was i paying 250 + fee's for 2 tickets, same tickets i got for ufc93 had jumped from 50 to 125 for this!!

And yeah, BIG difference between UFC fans and MMA fans ;)

Its more likely that there were at least 2000 in each presale. That is 2k for fight club, 2k for O2 and 2k for Newsletter.

    Well done lads…

I don’t mean to be an arse, although I’m bound to pi$$ a few off…

But I and a few others have been telling people all week that there are no guarantees and that events do often sell out in the presale. And yet others have been busy spouting speculation as fact and saying stuff like the majority of tickets will go in the general release on Friday.

I just hope people haven’t ended up missing out because of that constant dud information.

What I would say to those who did miss out is, watch the likes of ebay and donedeal. Not for the chancers currently offering €100 seats for €1000, but wait until a week out. The touts will be cutting their losses and selling cheap.

I went to 89 in Birmingham on a week's notice. Bought 2 x £150 seats on facebook for £180, sold the spare for £100. So sat in a £150 seeat and it cost me well below face value.

There will also be genuine people, like the lad on here who sold at face value.

    Good luck all.

Had two of us looking for 6 tickets this morning. Knew it was a long shot with having to get 6 tickets but I didn't get a whiff of them. Had booked my flight to come home for it a month ago and now I dont have a ticket. Oh well.
Had a friend coming home from Oz for a week or two and were planning on going to it with 4 other mates. Not so much anymore.

We don't all have that money to throw around....guess I am not a "real UFC fan"...christ.

So people are complaining about the "bandwagon mma fans" for the reason people can't get tickets and in the same breath saying "oh well I wouldn't spend that for a ticket".
There's an awful lot of bitching going on in the forum over the last couple of days.
The casual mma fans are just as entitled to tickets. It's that growing fanbase that will lead to the UFC coming back here more often. I've only been following mma for the past six or seven years. Does that mean a hardcore mma fan is more entitled to a ticket? And does that mean I'm entitled to a ticket over a casual fan or "bandwagoner". No I dont think so to be honest.

In terms of the ticket prices, they were absolutely justified coz it's obviously a sell-out.

If you really wanted a ticket then the fanclub or o2 presale was the way to go. If people are complaining about the ticket prices then they should shut up coz plenty of people out there are willing to pay the prices. The days of old UFC prices are long gone. Time to move on.

Tbf I don't think anyone purposely mislead anyone!

For 99.9% of events in the O2 presale has been at most 25% of total tickets.. With 3 presales it could have been more, but never more than 50! Even concerts with the fanclub presales have, stuck to that in the past!

Ticketmaster used this morning as a way to shaft the last VIPs..
Presale was ran awfully and Is maybe the second time tickets haven't been held.. Going on experience it was, safe to assume tickets would be retained..

You should be able to pick up some reasonably priced tickets off genuine sellers online.

I got tickets today and so did others, so some tickets were held back for today.

    Never suggested that anyone did.

But people kept insisting that general sale would "definitely" have tickets etc. Simply not true. Doesn't matter how many concert tickets you have bought, don't matter how other companies or vendors work. The UFC do what they do how they do it, every time.

And yet the people who have actually been through many a painful UFC presale in the past, were ignored.

Were there tickets available today? I'm sure there were. A handful, just to allow the UFC and Ticketbastard to gloat that they sold out in a few minutes when in reality probably 95% were already gone.

    Very very little though.

The fight club and newsletter presales I don't mind at all. It's the bloody O2 one that's annoying and i'm sure where the majority of touts etc. would have gotten tickets.

Anyone that didnt bother trying to buy in the presales (newsletter code, where I got my tickets, was widely available) on the assumption that they would pick up tickets this morning has no one to blame only themselves.
I tried the o2 presale and didnt get any but an hour later picked them up no problem.

Well from all the anecdotal evidence I've heard the newsletter/O2 tickets were gone within seconds of becoming available also, so I don't think there were massive amounts of them available.

Not true. I was still able to see tickets with the o2 priority at 1pm yesterday so they weren't all gone.

@UFC_UK: Didn't get tickets to #UFCDublin? You can still get €75 tickets via UFCVIP! Go get them!! http://t.co/2ss0r1tSD8

Tickets technically €75 but includes hotel and breakfast package. So €295 per ticket.
