Unless it's a classic French car.

    No.

Though selective yellow foglights might have a point.

    Not a fan.
Wouldn't mind one in a combi version.
    Not a fan.

None of the above, but you've got the right group.

Ah no, not a fan of the new Mercs.

    One of these.

VW Up! for those that don't know. Nice car, quite comfy and interior was very nice.
I didn't take it for a drive but probably will do so soon.

They're actually not bad at all, you wouldn't really know it's a small car when you're driving it.

Seen a 141 recently in a car park in that red and thought it was a lovely little car. But if your buying one please get the decent spec. The reason that one caught my attention was it was the first I seen that didn't have steelies and an 'irish spec'.

Oh definitely not basic spec. Mid spec with some extras, or top spec.

Plan would be a 3 door in either tungsten silver or red. I'm leaning towards the silver.

I must say, I really think the Up! is a cool car, definitely the best looking out of the Mii and the CitiGo. Slammed on BBS wheels would look seriously  .

Too bad it's too new and comes with boring engines though.

Know what I hate about the Up? The exclamation mark.

It's like people with Apple products - I broke the screen on my I-phone today. You don't hear people saying I broke the screen on my Samsung / Nokia or whatever. They just say they broke their damn phone!

You should really drive one. They certainly are not boring to drive.

Aaaaanyway, I'm back. MG is nearly running. Well, it is running. The engine ran today for the first time since 1991, with no exhaust manifold, it was loud and there were loads of flames. I'm just waiting on an exhaust manifold and drive shaft. Another few days, hopefully.

Not to be pedantic, but it's stylised as iPhone. :pac:

Ok, maybe a little bit pedantic. :D

Marketing is an unfortunate fact of life. I'm indifferent on the exclamation point.

Gvido, there's a 74bhp one that I'll be going for. Not going to win records, but I'm looking for a city car with good economy.

Well to be fair, it's hardly marketed as an sports car, it's meant to be an economical city car.

And a small car with a 3 cylinder petrol engine - like the UP! is still going to be more interesting then a 1.6 diesel Kia or the like

In other news, I saw an Austrian C5 RS6 Avant in work today, serious machine! Nice car to do a trip like that. The rumble from that V8 is amazing!

I rented a 5 door version of the Seat Mii in Italy, which is the same as the Up!

Really roomy inside for a super mini. Accomodated 4 adults fine, although the engine struggled up hills when fully loaded.

Any website where I can find out when a car was last NCT'd or when it expired?
I know you can check a current NCT on Cars Ireland or NCT site but not expired ones.
