After about 4 I'm on cloud nine, usually don't have much more.

Lightweight? I think of it as a good thing, only need to spend 25 euro and I'm doing grand :D

It's a 1-10 scale for me, can feel the difference after one, and after 10 I've had too much and reached the top and need to be taken off the hob. 6-7 is the sweet spot within 3 or so hours, then it's a game of chance trying to keep that level in a race against the inverse relationship of time vs being drunk.

    I normally lose :(

Around 2 and I can easily feel the affects of it. I guess I'm quite a light drinker!

Depends what I'm drinking. If it's cider or Guinness I'm done after 3. If it's Carlsberg or Budweiser or piss like that I would need at least 7

After 4 or 5 beers, I'm tipsy. After 6-7, I'm quite drunk. Any more than that, I'm paralytic.

With wine and spirits, I can handle them a bit better, probably because I'm more used to them.

Yes. Banjo String just did. I have quoted the post in case you missed it.

In the 1945 film "The Lost Weekend", drunkard Don Birnam (Ray Milland) says "Let me have one, Nat. I'm dying. Just one", to which Nat the Bartender (Howard Da Silva) replies "One drink's too many, and a hundred's not enough".

About 5, by the ten mark I'm usually completely gone ,making sound effects of cash registers and the likes

1 pint and I start going. 2 it's getting nice, 3 that's enough. 4 "stupid girl, you know 3 is your limit"

Guinness that is, when gin and tonics are flowing I'm grand up to about drink 8 or 9

1 good big glass of poteen and Jean Byrne on the weather and I'll be quite happy for a while :D

I have no idea really. Some nights I could go out and one or two and I'm anybody's, then another night I could go out, knock back a fair bit, and still resist anybody :D

Seems to be different every time. Last time out I had 8 pints of Guinness and felt pretty much sober. There are other times where I'm giddy as a school girl after two. I must be broken.

Three's usually my limit. I think it's more to do with size though. I'm female and about 7 1/2 stone and I know that anymore than three and I'll start feeling a bit funny so anymore's not a good idea.

Where? Name one place in Cork that is 6.50 a pint and name the beer.

I have not come across prices like that anywhere.
