yea , nodin , you keep saying that , if it saves face for ya

You claimed a policy existed. You have failed to link to that policy.

ah give it up will ya , they had a blanket policy of not engaging with the RUC , this is universally known , and they only introduced a child friendly policy late 1999/early 2000's , as the published in a previous post.

So , as everyone else looks to understand , expect you , that SF policy was not to report child sexual abuse to the RUC , until they changed it

they must have had a policy to later CHANGE it ;)

but you know this Nodin , and just want to chase your tail

instead of pissing into the wind , why not furnish the class with you opinion if he was right not to report , or should have her reported sooner , and to whom ?

I always said shinners would get the protest vote in this election, in fact at no point have i said that they wouldn't do well.

Your Indo type agenda of starting this thread trying to damage them spectacularly failed.

Do you write for the Indo?

Convenient timing you started this thread lamenting the children killed, yet on the same newsworthy day you as an ex member of the BA never started a thread about your army's shameful killing of young 11 yr old Rowntree in Belfast.

No i don't write for the indo or any other media outlet and i do not work for any media. Was the killing of that boy in the news on the day i started this thread?

To be fair, he started the thread to point out a convicted child killer was campaigning for SF in an impending election.

The timing makes perfect sense in that context.

Actually it appears as though Matt Carthy, for who McMahon was canvassing is doing dramatically worse than any other SF candidate.
One reason for that could well be his decision to use McMahon.
That said, congratulations to SF on their campaign, the people have spoken and voted for SF and I will have to respect that.

And tell me why you are so sure they wont do as well in the next general election? Won a few seats? They might TREBLE what they have at the moment. Let me tell you my friend there is a very good chance they will be in power after the next general election and you can quote me on that! As i said on an earlier post sinn fein are here to stay, labour are more or less obliterated and fine gael and fianna fail are ****ting themselves with the rise of sein fein. Better get use to it..

    Nonesense.

Its just the normal rollercoaster ride at the mercy of the ignorant and simple minded Irish electorate.

'Obliterating' a party in power is what they do every so often, in the deluded hope that the party not in power will solve all their problems. Labour were obliterated in 1997, Fine Gael the same in 2002 (I think 'melt down' was the technical term), Fianna Fail thumped the last time, and despite presiding over the countries biggest ever downturn which is still ongoing, are on the way back.
Labour will take a hiding in the next general election alright. But the plain people of Ireland with their goldfish memories will turn back to them again the next time despite having lashed out angrily at them only a few years earlier.
