The European tour flagship event surely deserves its own thread?

I love this event, always have. A lot of ryder cup points on offer so should be a competitive Sunday. Hopefully Rory doesnt turn into a train wreck, I fear there will be even more eyes on him after his press conference today.

I see this is not on BBC (only had a quick look). Is that a new thing?

The weather is horrendous, all the power just went so I guess maybe lightening? Maybe that is why sky is down, I think they are broadcasting from here.

Would love to see Lowry do really well.

Seems like the most normal lad playing golf especially if you follow him on twitter. That said i had a bit of twitter banter with GMAC a few weeks ago so thats my claim to fame!
