    No, I wouldn't kill a baby.

Plus I played C&C: Red Alert, it'll be just as bad without him.

Baby Adolf did nothing wrong. You need to take a look at the factors that led when to where he ended up. He's the product of his environment.

No if I do then Stalin takes over Europe. Alternatively it may cause a more competent communist/fascist dictator to be in control of Germany.

Hitler never would have made it without the political and financial backing from certain members of German high society that liked his thinking. Had Hitler died as a child/never been born these same people would have simply found someone else.

Stephen fry wrote a book on preventing his birth by going back in time and putting a spermicide in the water supply. The conclusion in his book is that even if you had killed Hitler someone more evil could have taken his place so maybe Hitler was the best of a bad lot as he did not force Jewish scientists to stay in Germany and Austria early on in his campaigns. These scientists ended up in America and helped build the A bomb. What if Hitler had the A bomb first?

Hitler and many of his actions were the end result of the Napoleonic wars.

So the real question is; would you kill babe Napoleon?

If you can travel back in time that far back you might as well be ambitious and try and stop WWI.

Awesome book, Making History was the name can be found here

You also have to remember some of the decisions Hitler made due to incompetance or possible medical reasons could have been the only reason that the axis were beat.

    If he didn't attack Russia
If he had carried out a full invasion of England
If he had given up on crazy weapons

Granted there was reasons for doing all these and to be fair he did nearly win in Russia and the weapons although crazy could have been more effective and if the war was longer could have given him a huge advantage neither of things happened and it helped the allies win in Europe

Hah ww1 was gonna happen sooner rather than later. It was like having a gunpowder factory on top of a TNT manufacturing plant across the road from a fireworks factory and next to a center for Arsonists Anon.

If you stopped the assisination of franz then something else would have triggered it. The main powers were itching for war and the alliences made it inevitable. That was a war decades in the making that i'm sure they thought would be over in a few months and leave everyone with nice clean borders and let them flex their military muscle.

I never considered Hitler a babe. Even Eva Braun was no babe.

As for killing Hitler when a baby, no point. The circumstances that led to his rise would still have delivered a despot/dictator - and probably every bit as bad as, if not worse than, Adolf.

And there are probably some other things you could do which would stop him coming to power.

Everybody will get all up in arms & emotive as its a baby. But if he was 25 there are things you could do that might stop him coming to power without actually killing him, e.g. a facial acid attack, cutting off a hand or something.

"who's a cute lil baby? who's a cute little fella, where's hitler? peekaboo there he is"

    is probably what i'd do

No I wouldn't. I don't see how killing Adolf Hitler's pet pig would change anything.

I'd rather spend my time and energy eliminating computer printers from existence. There's probably far more potential dictators in the world than well-intentioned but untimately flawed engineers and computer scientists. Have I ever mentioned I hate printers?
