Hi I'm graduating school tomorrow and leaving cert next month and im lppking to shed between 2.5-3 stone before September.
My diet isn't the best as i drink 2L coke a week and would have crisps with lunch everyday as well as Chinese on Friday and fry on Sunday.

Is their any suggestions on what foods to eat that are healthy and tasty- they have to be meat and fish free (im a vegetarian)

What exercises should i do. Would running everyday and playing football 2/3 times a week along with walking my dogs everyday be sufficient or should i do other specific exercises to drop the weight.

    Thanks in advance :):)

    Task 1.
Weigh yourself first thing tomorrow morning.
Ditch the Coke, Chinese and crisps for two weeks. (No substitutes, just do without).
Keep your fry - that is your cheat meal ;)
Weigh yourself on Sunday morning June 1st and report back here.

Let's see if you are serious.

    Good luck :)

I'd say you'd get away with putting off planning any diet or lifestyle change for 1 month while you prepare for and do your leaving certificate.

Good luck with your exams! :)

In the short term, read up the Nutrition 101 sticky in the Nutrition & Diet forum.

Aside from that, ditch what you know to be the rubbish. You've flagged a few things there that you know aren't great so work on that.

Don't worry about the exercise for now. Nutrition is more important so nail that and you're well on the way :)
