But sure how is it sour grapes? I didn't apply, I don't want them, if I'd applied and was in the queue then you'd have a point but I've no interest in them, I'm happy where I am, I just think this hanging about because you want to see how your current team does before leaving is taking the piss.

May i ask then....Who is it affecting? Not you by your own admission. The other managers in the queue don't care and nobody else seems to care. It makes no difference to anybody and it seems you are just looking to argue the point for the sake of it.

I really can't see why you would even care about something that makes no difference to you apart from being pissed that you missed out before.

Because what if someone else comes along now and wants them? After 24 hours, normally, they'd just get them without waiting, but now we have a situation where someone wants to have their cake and eat it and effectively have control over two clubs. If he's willing to leave, he should leave, he didn't say when he applied "I'm applying but I want to wait 10 days to take it because I want to see where my current club finishes". It's taking the piss.

The guy asked if he could, He didn't demand it and it seems the majority don't mind so as far I'm concerned he can do it.

The majroty haven't said anything, so far only about 5 or 6 people have given an opinion one way or the other.

Ultimately Mac decides as it's his game world, I just think it's kind of taking the piss is all.

Everybody in the gameworld will have an opinion and they all count, not just those that it will affect this time.

I don't really mind either way what happens.

However the decision that is made now will effect any future job changes because there will be a new reference point.

Jobs have always been advertised for 24hrs to get the situation sorted as soon as.

If we don't stress a certain timeframe then things will just get messy. As seaneh has said when does it become not ok to wait?

This situation has never risen before. Provided the managers effected do not mind I've no problem with him taking over at the end of the season (no buying or selling players in the mean time) and we can adjust the charter too read "after applying for a job and wilberto confirming your the best ranked manager you must quit your old club and apply for the new club next time your online"

I don't see why he should get to do it now and then tell others they can't to the same later though?

If you think about it, by staying at Kyiv who have a worse squad and getting 4th place he is upping his manager rating so he's getting an unfair advantage in future applications. Taking over a Champions League finalist club with most of their squad intact is a privilege and he's earned it, he's the best manager in the game world this season imho, but that privilege should be respected and accepted without conditions or let go to someone who will take them asap.

At the end of the day it's up to Mac, who has already said it's fine as long as the other applicants don't mind. Which they don't as far as I'm aware.

Well I'm an applicant now and I mind.

If think if he's going to let Kyiv wait 10 days then he should at least re-open the application process in case anyone ranked higher changes their minds and decides they fancy a pop.

Sorry guys, i was just asking the question, i didn't mean to cause an argument. I hope now as all managers in question have commented as per macs outline above, we can all now get back to enjoying the game and know how to deal with this issue in future.

If any of the guys that applied for Atletico originally don't mind, then what's the problem? He'll have nothing to play for at Atletico now, whereas he could get Kyiv into the CL. If it is confirmed that they do/do not qualify before the end of the season though, then I say he should move after that game.

I am actually hoping to apply for Kyiv when he leaves.
I don't think I'll get them as other players with higher ratings will also apply but I'd like to know either way asap.
