    On Android 4.4 the keyboard has a built in Smiley option.

    I'm on a Nexus 7 and added a few.

    For me they just show up as :)

    But for everyone else it's 😛😜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜‹ðŸ˜—😙😘😚ðŸ˜ðŸ˜±ðŸ˜ŽðŸ˜­ðŸ˜ŒðŸ˜–😔 etc

    Thank you! I kept seeing them all over the place and thought everyone knew something I didn't. :o I even have a new Android but never use the smilies!
