    Hi,

I was told ENT (ear nose and throat) doctors visits were covered by VHI but I can't find them in their form in section 6: https://www.vhi.ie/pdf/claims/daytodaymedexpenses.pdf

Does anyone know anything about this?

    170 quids a visit is quite a lot ..

    Thanks

Best bet is to give them a ring to see what your particular insurance covers.

I assume that you are talking about a ENT consultant ?

Consultant visits are listed in the form that you linked to, this means all consultants, none of the different specialities are listed.

There are a lot of different VHI policies - some cover €60 of a consultant visit, some cover none, and some cover €60 but there is an excess.

If your policy covers some of the cost of the consultant visit, then your ENT consultant is covered.
