Dalasiri extremely weak. It's off putting 40 on the exchange

    Pivot Bridge won.

Another one for Gary O'Brien tipped up at 12/1.

Lads, yous are going to think I'm crazy but just backed Adebayor to be Tottenham's PL Top Scorer @ 33/1 with BetVictor.

    My reasoning for doing so:

    a) The price
    b) Sherwood is fav to get job on interim basis and he's said he wants to get Adebayor back involved - he's starting him in League Cup QF tonight
    c) Soldado (1/4 to be their top scorer) has been woeful with only 4 goals (3 pens) and doesn't look like he's suited to physicality of PL.
    d) Defoe (10/1) is rumored to be joining Toronto.
    e) Although a mercenary of the highest order, Adebayor is exactly the type of player who can go on a scoring run when he's mollycoddled and has something to prove.

Bet's as likely to be a loser by January as it is a runner, but with Soldado looking average, Adebayor looks worth a speculative punt in what should be a three, maybe two, horse race.

Job done. Atta boy Ade!!! :D

    Well done Jim

Pity VC treat me like an AIDS victim

Great shout Jim! It was actually never in doubt. Soldado is a pile of shite.

They say he who hesitates is lost. I hesitated and didn't take 11/10 arsenal during the week. 1.77 now

Arsenal 2 up. Bloody typical, would've been a nice end to the season

Very hard to pick anything on the final day of the premiership tomorrow.

Everton are standout at evens. Very generous. I'm happy to have just the single. A large one.

Will throw Palace and Stoke into a treble with them at about 19/1.

Think Liverpool 6-0 looks about right. 35/1.

    Cruel. I didn't deserve that.

Palace concede in the 94th minute. That's really really hurt. Really.

Christ is anyone actually taking 6/1 Utd for next year?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 7,669 ✭✭✭Colonel Sanders

Falcao keeps saying he'll be for for the World Cup

Pity someone wouldn't tell the market. If Colombia was a horse I'd say it has lost a leg

Market extremely bare waiting to settle but it's looking like settling around 4/5 vs 5/4. In favour of atletico.

** make that 8/11-11/8 and getting lower all the time.

Surely the collective madness of the NFL Draft should, nay must, go into the legends thread

Brianna Rollins may be another addition if she gets athlete of the year

Just looking at the league table

Barca host Athletico next week, Barca win on goal difference if they win

A win today would have won Athletico the league with Barca drawing too

Actually just been informed it goes on head to head but same difference as they drew in the return tie in Madrid

Ya it's been a roller coaster these last few weeks. Barcelona were 11/2 last week. Will be a cracker of a game next week hopefully.

Nope. Post here when you do.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 7,669 ✭✭✭Colonel Sanders

Probably near the end of the hundreds of markets they'll have to settle today but you'd think they'd be finished by now

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,408 ✭✭✭ft9

I'm onto live chat at the minute trying to get it settled
Please bare with us as the Premiership season has just finished and our Settlements team are working hard to settle all markets as quickly as possible at present.
    This should be settled shortly

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,191 ✭✭✭NewApproach

VC took about 48 hours to settle a season long bet for me last week which would have had way more dockets (I presume) than the Adebayor market. Hold your horses.

Lads do you think if I got onto live help and told them my account was frozen at the time but I really would have done that bet that I'd have a chance in being paid out
