Even though we got CL which is fantastic in itself, i just cant help but feel we let this premiership behind , whatever way you want to dress it up we **** ourselves when we needed to keep the heads most, when the final whistle blows today i wont say yes we got Cl, i will be full of regret:(

All teams can look at dropped points over the season where they feel they shouldn't have. Both City and Chelsea dropped points to Sunderland, Norwich and Villa along with other "smaller" teams. The Palace game was the only result where I feel like we buckled under pressure of trying to catch up to City's goal difference.
Overall its been a successful season with a small squad of young players punching above their weight. If we got the same results against Chelsea and Palace early in the season they would not seem as bad.

Highlights of the season for me. ..(in no particular order)

    -Mignolets debut peno save.
-Sturridge and his little faint touch chip against West Brom to score
    -Spurs away and Flannos goal.
-Suarezs 20min spell that destroyed Norwich which was one of the best 20mins I have ever seen any player play. Absolutely jaw dropping.
    -Sturridges celebration (grew on me)
    -Gerrards celebration face against Everton
-The destruction of Arsenal at Anfield . Didn't watch it but had it in a radio with a really bad reception in a fishing cabin in Cavan. I couldnt make out what the commentators were saying, and it was funny when we realised they weren't repeating previous goals scored, but it was actually us repeatedly scoring :)
    -Both Utd games :)
-David Moyes. The gift that kept in giving.pity
    -City at Home.
-Watching Utd fans reduced to having to cheer on City.
    -Steven Gerrards new role.

    and finally Brendan Rodgers.

That mental photo supposedly outside the hotel from the night before the Chelsea game.

Have you got a copy of the one you posted up?

Went back through the old thread and it's gone.

Damn right. Iv a feeling one world class center back liverpool would of won the league by 5-6 points or more. U cant explain how important a vidic terry kompany is to a title winning team. Without them a 100 goal team wins nothing.

We could have though only for the loss to Chelsea. Can't blame the defence for that one.

The comeback against Fulham deserves a mention. That's when I started to believe we had a chance.

    So many moments to remember.

If only somebody would make a video animation of the highlights of the season. Would be great.

Don't know if it's been posted, but there are some guaranteed profits to be had from today's action.... Might soften the blow later this evening!

    http://www.hotukdeals.com/misc/free-70-from-coral-betbright-paddypower-actual-money-playthrough-1901416
Okay, a couple of these have already been posted, one by my self, but I thought I'd put them all in the same place so that everyone will have the chance this morning. First things first you'll need to sign up to 4 different booking sites (NEW ACCOUNTS ONLY) and stake £100, but this isn't a 50x bet amount of money, this is real win, today only, guaranteed. Just follow the steps below.

    Coral – Man City @ 3/1 Guaranteed Return £23.19
    *Goto http://promotions.coral.co.uk/landing-pages/crazy-prices-online/?
*Sign Up through this promotion page and bet £10 on Man City to beat West Ham. Odds will not show as 3/1 but this is amended by Coral when settling the bet.
    *Go to http://www.bet365.com
*Sign up and place the following 2 bets.
*£2.36 on West Ham to beat Man City @ 16/1
*£4.45 on Man City and West Ham to Draw @13/2
*All bets return around £40 minus £16.81 Stake makes your win approximately £23.20

BetBright – Man City @ Evens to win the Premier League Guaranteed Return £17.60
    *Goto https://www.betbright.com/lg/9418/638
*Sign Up through this promotion page and bet £20 on Man City to win the premier league. Odds will not show as 1/1 but this is amended by BetBright when settling the bet.
    *Go to http://www.bet365.com
*Put £2.40 on Liverpool to win the Premier League @ 16/1
*Both bets return around £40 minus £22.40 stake makes your win approximately £17.60

Bet Bright – Liverpool to beat Newcastle @ Evens Guaranteed return of £11.55
    *Goto https://www.betbright.com/lg/9404/631
*Sign Up through this promotion page (must be a different email address, mobile number and payment method from the other account you just set up) and bet £20 on Liverpool to beat Newcastle. Odds will not show as 1/1 but this is amended by BetBright when settling the bet.
    *Go to http://www.bet365.com
*Put £3.10 on Newcastle to beat Liverpool @ 12/1
*Put £5.35 on Liverpool and Newcastle to draw @ 13/2
*All bets return around £40 minus £28.45 stake makes your win approximately £11.55

Paddy Power – Arsenal to beat Norwich @ 4/1 Guaranteed return of £15.60
    *Goto http://content.paddypower.com/ppc-pages/sportsbook/affiliates-enhancedprices/enhancedprice-may-wk1/arsenaltowin/arsenaltowin-twitter.html?AFF_ID=21039
*Sign Up through this promotion page and bet £10 on Arsenal beat Norwich. Odds will not show as 4/1 but this is amended by PaddyPower when settling the bet.
    *Go to http://www.bet365.com
*Put £11.20 on Norwich to beat Arsenal @ 7/2
*Put £13.20 on Arsenal and Norwich to draw @ 14/5
*All bets return around £50 – minus £34.40 Stake makes you win approximately £15.60.

Please note, these odds were correct of last night when I placed all my bets, please double check them before placing any bets.

Assuming you join up correctly and place the right stakes on the right odds you should return £167.94 minus your £100 stake and presto £67.94 free for you!

I would suggest getting this done before 2pm as I believe these offers expire at 3pm today 11/05/2014.

Definitely, that was a great comeback and 'moment' of the season. And let's not forget the first three games, three goals from Sturridge, 9 points. Remember 1-0 games? ;)

Has anyone totted up the number of foreigners and English players and see how we fit for the Champions League?

Could it be we have gone after Lallana instead of Kono with this in mind?

Just wish it was 5pm and it was all over, we can then concentrate on summer targets and hopefully get some of them wrapped up quickly like last summer (only better quality ones)

Somewhere out there in Tinternet Land far far away - a group of renegade Wildlings of the 7th place army (from north of the wall) sharpen their trusty finger typing spears in preparation for battle @4:45pm.

...when the arrive they will find no one to do battle with :)

The club are in no danger at all in that regard, hell if City could play in the CL Liverpool certainly can! 8 native born or English club trained (3 seasons between 15 and 21) players required for the squad - off the top of my head these would do

    Johnson
    Flanno
    Gerrard
    Wisdom
    Hendo
    Sterling
    Sturridge
    Suso
    Ibe

But you have to admire their enthusiasm. (It must be painful cheering on the blue half). :D

    Dzeko appartantly is his choice.

Not like Jose to try and grab some headlines.
