OSI is no troll, what an awful thing to say :)

I never said he was and it wasn't meant that way. No need for the dramatics. Looking at a brain scan after being told someone had epilepsy and asking what your looking at wasn't the cleverest thing to begin with. I was making light of that, as in, what on earth do you think you're looking at.

I think you took him up wrong ba! ;)

It's passed me by whatever the joke was then. To be clear, everybody knows OSI isn't a troll nor was I attempting to troll him. Makes no sense as to why I would as he seems a stand up guy.

If anyone wants to enlighten me further PM me.

And "cabbage between the ears" is a phrase I've used for years to reference a brain and not intelligent actions. I just thought it would fit given the question and the brain scan.

Kaiser did you buy the A6 before that had to go back? How's that one going?

Jeebus OSI, sorry to hear man, get well soon.
I imagine your mind is all over the place at the moment but enjoy being chauffeur driven everywhere for awhile!
As for your the picture inside your head, no idea what it is or means!

    Yep that was me.

This one is going great I have to say. There was a few "teething problems" - one of the rear parking sensors needed replacing and it had the dreaded "chain rattle" but both were taken care of by the warranty I got from the dealer (which is why I would not buy a car like this privately - sorting the chain rattle alone probably ate up any profit they made from me)

Since then though she's running perfectly and if I take it handy-ish! :), I'm getting about 2 weeks out of a full tank including a 4 hour/500km motorway spin. It's the pottering around Dublin that drinks fuel.

Will bring her down to George over the summer for a service but nothing planned besides that :)

I never understood why more of that model didn't sell. Always preferred them to the E-Class but I haven't enough experience of either to say which is better. We'll wear anyway.

Cheers.. I kind of like that they're not quite "everywhere" - and certainly not with the engine I have in it.

I'm going to assume it's the 3TDI. I had the chance to sit into a Toureg 5lv10 this morning. Didn't get to drive it but blipping the throttle was nice.

Yep 3.0 TDI Quattro (225 BHP)

I've driven a few E-classes as well in my time. Very nice buses too but no pretense of sportiness at all about them - like driving a couch :), whereas the A6 is a comfortable cruiser and has a nice roar when ya want it.

Really really sorry to hear that OSI :(

I hope that it doesn't mean that you'll be spending less time with us on here until you can drive again!!!!:)

Was talking to my dad this morning about the 5er I drove yesterday. "What was it anyway?" "A 520i 2.2 automatic" "Jesus you couldn't even give that away, sure the tax alone would be more than the insurance, what you need to buy is a post 2008 car."

    Eh no, I'm grand :pac:

If I listened to my dad I'd be driving well...

    I wouldn't :p

    You'd be driving a Yaris.

    Oh wait :pac:

I never discuss what I'm buying with anyone other than my mates, I can stand the post 2008 diesel lovers.

Jesus sorry to hear that OSI, hopefully it'll all be sorted sooner rather than later. :)

One positive of station wagons - if you want to clean the inside and it's raining you can just put the vacuum cleaner in the boot :D

I've come on for the first time in a few hours :)

I was like wow ba has really got me wrong :)

No problem man, thanks to whoever cleared it up.

Edit: I also knew it was a brain scan but thought there was something special I couldn't see :)

The pic is showing what's not there more than anything. It's the big black space where there should be something and isn't. Apparently it's astounding I can walk and talk, let alone be high functioning. Ah well, a year on the sidelines and I'll be back to terrorising the streets of north dublin :pac:

Is cabbage still around? Don't remember seeing him in ages.

Yeah I was looking at the big dark space but was thinking surely that is too big to be of relevence as the guy is still moving around and using the internet.

I want to buy a new car for myself. Where could I get extra €500 - €1000 so I can afford it? :P

My bad man, I was wondering what you were going on about and thought you were just being a thick for some reason. My fault for not linking it all up in my mind.

Is this the first time it's happened? Strange of it to occur at your age.
He was here earlier on I think

He popped in earlier but his posts are gone. I think he is more misunderstood for some reason l. Never really got why he rubs everyone else so much but maybe I've missed something over time. I tend to foget things that happen on here.
