No,my friend, not dying. The Pandasap hibernates during the Summer and awakes from its slumber in August, fresh and invigorated, ready for the many challenges a new season of being the worst fans in the history of sport brings.

So rest my friend. Become a Lesser Spotted Pandasap.

Fuc*kit Kerrigooney , that made me laugh :D The Pandasap haha i like it .

Lallana is a cracking player and I'd love to see him at Anfield...but 20-25m for him is far too much. 15-18 is more like it in my opinion. Better value out there than that.

Konopylanka at 15m is a bargain when compared with Lallana.

This is the thing. I think 20 million is a good price, Soton will want 25 with add-ons. Liverpool won't budge on the 20, it will drag on for 3 weeks and then somebody else will just offer the 25+ and we are back to square one.

    *best David Attenborough impression....

The Pandasap lives deep in the urban jungle, to spot him in his natural habitat you must first begin a fabled match thread...

the pandasap will then be seen waiting to pounce on unsuspecting match thread posters.....

    until...

Perhaps. The opposite is also true. We spend 25m on him, he buckles under the price tag and we've blown a huge chunk of our budget on someone who cant step up a level or 2.

If we are genuinely interested in Lallana, I think we hold all the cards presuming that he would be up for a move and wouldn't be held to ransom.

The lad's a proper footballer, I was going to list reasons why Liverpool would be his first choice over other clubs but go through them yourselves, it's a fairly straightforward process.

I'm working on the presumption that he doesn't want to move abroad btw!

This whole lallana is a one season wonder is a bit unfair to the lad he as come up through the divisions and has been on the team of the year in the top three leagues.

    So the guy has talent.

The real questions are does he have it what it takes for a top 4 team. I think he does.
Is he worth between £20m and £25m. I don't think he is.

There is European and World class players out there for that kind of money but would they take to the PL is the question.

Just glad it's not me in charge of bringing players in.

He has consistently pulled opponents jerseys in the box all season too. How he got away with so much was beyond me.

tbh most defenders in the league do it , it's just that sky sports commentators eh don't commentate on it

I'd bloody love if we somehow brought back Alonso. He'd still be a great signing at his age.

With Agger, Skrtel, Toure, Sakho as 1st teamers and Ilori, Wisdom possibly Kelly coming through there is no way we will be getting in a CB without shifting one possibly 2 CBs.

I'd be hoping our defense might be tightened up with a tweak to the system we play rather than a personnel problem, but I'd Imagine BR would have seen it and made the change to the system by now.

A strong CB pairing should be based on a good understanding and partnership, i dont think the CBs got enough of that this season. There has been to many chops and changes at CB.

Toure and one of Skrtel/Agger may go if we sign want to sign a top CB.

I believe it's a midfield problem, not enough bodies at pertinent times to stifle the opposition

So, I'm here building a rollie with my Chinese machine (best €2 ever spent, prob cost more to ship over) and out it comes wrong!? 1 in every 100 just comes out wrong, there's no logic to it, no formula?! and i get pissed off...but then i think to Sunday with West Ham.. it's not suppose to happen, every WH game with city this season has been a foregone conclusion...but this game mmm ?!

And Raul Meireles is looking very dapper these days too...

not really tbh.. is that not Paul "The Hipster" Galvin in that photo?!?!

There's been no discussion in here that I've seen of the paper talk of fat Sam getting sacked after Sundays game. Would doing the impossible against city have any effect on him keeping his job?

Are the saps dying or what? We can metamorphosis into the Transfer Muppitry Saps or the World Cup Match Thread Saps. It's time to expand and grow, we need to be always growing.

World cup is going to be like a Civil War, sap vs sap. Hopefully everyone takes the 'Tag team participating in the Royal Rumble approach' of may the best man win.

The only thing with Lallana is how much would Barkley cost as an alternative?

I assume Henderson will be straight back in the team. Who gets dropped? Lucas I would think.

henderson and coutinho in for lucas and allen Id imagine. Allen has been quite good recently.

    Today's Twatter rumours....

Southampton have asked about the availability of Enrique. If true then thats Luke Shaw leaving.

PSG in talks with Dnipro for Konoplyanka.

    Turdy to be awarded P.S.P.O.T.Y

    - Fine, assuming Shaw is coming to us, it's only fair we give them the replacement.

    - That's him gone then

    - One season wonder...

God be with the days Liverpool would dip into the lower leagues/smaller clubs and make a star out of Keegan, Rush, Barnes, Aldo etc.

Can it still be done? Danny Ings, Jordan Rhodes (amazed no Prem club has got him esp when crap like Altidore and Wolfswinkle cost about 10 mill each),
Liverpool paid Chester City a then record £300,000 for teenager Rush in 1980
