Rodgers interview this morning...and a quote to put the season in perspective

Highlights the overachievement. Hope we can push on next season.

I think this is a dig at them breaking the fair play sanctions which they are being fined by FIFA for.

Will the FA also be handing out sanctions? Or are the fair play rules just governed by FIFA?

Anyone of the opinion we should go for an experienced backup striker for next season? Obviously nobody who will cost over 70k a week in wages but maybe someone like Diego Milito?

I'd be wary of an old hand who is picking up a wage for often being sat on the bench, Borini is young and thrusting and wants to make an impression.

OT I know but this is pretty funny, fair play to them.

    Add..
    Lallana
    Konoplyanka
    LB
    DM
GK (really think we need one, and a big oversight by many)

    Call Back..
    Borini
    Suso
    Ibe
    Wisdom

    Hold onto...
Suarez (would be happy if we signed no one but kept this guy)
    Coutinho
    Sterling

    Sell..
    Aspas
    Assaidi
    Coates
    Kelly
    Robinson
    Ngoo
    Reina
    Adorjan

    Send back..
    Moses
    Cissokho

I dont think we'll go for a specialist DM rather a CM that can rotate with the other options we have available. I reckon we may actually bring in 2 players for this position with Lucas moving on.

If we had Begovic instead of Mignolet I'd be happy with that.

is there a more natural two footed player in the PL than Lallana?

He explained: "I didn't expect the red, because I thought I'd got the ball. But when I look back, I've got the ball but I've gone over and caught Nasri quite high up. I couldn't have expected anything else really.

"It wasn't a malicious tackle. I just wanted to get the ball back. It was the last minute of the game, and I felt if I'd have won the ball there, that could have been it really. We could have broken and kept it up the field.

"But I overran it, and I tried to make up for it a bit too much.

"I've been over it in my head a fair few times, especially in the first couple of days. That night, I was sat there thinking: 'Why did I do that?'

Would suspect theres not many premier league footballers with that level of introspection. He strikes me as a very honest guy. It can only make him better & Im glad we have him.

I mentioned it on the match thread.

he would like nothing more than to have played a big part, but what he would like and what will happen are two very different things.

Oh I agree I dont think there is much chance of it happening but I dont think any Liverpool fan needs to worry about West Ham not giving it ago just because he likes a sup with Fergie..

    Jordan Henderson is back! :D

The guy is going to be like a caged animal being released, and for me our recent results without him are no coincidence.

I am delighted to be saying that and how he has turned his LFC career around is a credit to the lad.

If West Ham actually beat City, having already taken Cole, Downing and Carroll off our hands, I just.. I just don't know...

I think he meant GOOD with both feet? :D

    FIFA doesn't count...

I guess it will be something for Big Sam to say that he won Liverpool the league!!

Wasn't it West Ham who did United over when Blackburn won the league! Aw man, I'm back to my superstition. :P

Borini is definitely coming back to us better than when he left. He'll get opportunities next season.

Enrique has that mandatory left foot use, pirouette thing down to a fine art.

Couldn't resist putting him in really. The difference between himself and Cazorla is hilarious to me.

Should be full of confidence and also a lot more settled in England this time round.

Really hope he stays injury free now.

I love that, although we won't win it, we are in with a shout on the final day. That's not even the consolation prize, we have the CL for that, and if Suarez stays, another huge one.
