1km? You'd walk that in less than 10 mins!

I suppose theres better value out there for 1800 euro tax also! the laguna is a super safe car though, 5 stars ncap etc hard to beat that car to be honest.

Indeed, for workout to and from work, as you'd probably have to push it there and back, 1km is more than enough for a Laguna.

    There is the link.
It's a right sleeper and I'd say you could get it for a lot less than 1.8k.
    Seems like an ok car

Am I missing something? That is the coolest car in bangernomics for a very long time!!!!!

    Comfort
    Speed
    Safety
    space
    Low milage
    Very very very long NCT
    Very new (for a banger!!!!)

Also didn't they fix all the reliability issues post 2005?

That's not a facelift model however. I'd love to know how much a belt fir that would set you back.

Facelift happened in march 05. That car despite being 06 reg, is much older than that.

If it had 2 fewer doors.
The later Laguna couple could have been a stunning shooting brake.

Not necessarily. Jaguar have the XF Sportbrake, and Merc the CLS63 Shooting Brake, both four-door.

Ah fair enough, I'm not that up on Lagunas :o

    Still some yoke though!

Meh, I've always thought those are a corruption of the concept to make them sound sporty.
Historically the vast majority of shooting brakes are sleek 2 door estates, anything else is a regular old estate in my book. No matter what a marketing department might reckon.

    E39 535i for 1450.
    Nct until next February.
Can anyone see what's wrong with it, or a it just the size of the engine that's commanding the low price. Seems very low to me.

Just a big engined 15 year old car.

Change the wheels, front indicators and rear lights and it'd be a lovely car.

    That's what they go for.
Anyone in the market for an e39 v8 would want the 540i if not able to buy the m5.

That was posted before (several months ago) with the same pictures, so I assume it's the same seller… I wander if there is something wrong with it.

Shhh! Don't tell 'em they're just estates! :pac:

It's overpriced at €1,450. By a good bit.

Lovely engine all the same, the M62 V8 :)

Your right - the front grill/headlights are the pre facelift - thought something didn't seem right - but though I was mistaken in what an 06 Laguna looked like.

This Laguna is actually a facelifted version

    *off topic*

btw - if anyones looking for cars for the dreamers tread - have a look at some Laguna II prices - someones looking for nearly 10 grand for one - wtf

incidentally - did the facelift model address the reliability issues on the 1.9 dci - the one I linked to above might be a prospect if so - I only put it up simply to show a facelift Laguna

No. The 1.9 unit remained junk.
