Crap result for FPL. Will City risk injuries or will they rest players? Will Liverpool go for goals vs Newcastle?

Yes this is true......was gonna load up on pool players but it could well go flat early

This is the sort of crazy result only the end of the season can throw up.

I would still expect Liverpool to go for goals. City will still only be two points ahead if they beat Villa.

Flanagan, Ward and Skrtel with next to nothing, nothing from Puncheon, and a Suarez goal.

    Carlsberg don't do FPL nights...

I had Skrtel, Ward and Puncheon against my rivals Ince who didn't start. I've hit an absolute shocking run right at the end of the season. In the space of 3 weeks I'm out of all my money leagues and rival will nip ahead of me this week barring a few penalty saves from Mignolet, or a miraculous recovery (and hat-trick) from Aguero. Although as pointed out already they are less likely to risk him now. Worse case scenario from a match yet again. I'll probably still finish in the top 5k and yet cannot wait for this season to be over.

He BLEW liverpool away when he came on.

5 points from Suarez isn't enough for me. My opponent has Wickham and RVP to my Suarez and Rooney.

I don't expect Rooney to play and Suarez has only matched Wickham's tally from his first game.

Main rival had skrtel and I wasnt too displeased when palace scored the first one even though Im a liverpool fan. This game really does mess with your football loyalties.

At the start of the night I said I feared Gerrard as an opponent has him. He then got 2 assists and was closing in on 3 BP until Gayle stole them. This was what I was referring to. Just wanted to clear that up!

that rules out any chance of my captain aguero starting wednesday. even if fully fit i think they'll leave him on the bench and only bring him on if they need him.
other than that i can't see them making much changes, the league isn't won yet. they still need 4 points.
aguero and silva are the only 2 i think they might hold back on the bench out of their best 11.

I agree and i have both of them with aguero(c) disaster.

nightmare result for you so from a FF point of view and as a football fan.

i'd settle for 20 mins for aguero and hope he might score against a tired villa side but if they're 2-0 or more up i don't think he'll appear, that's if he makes the bench.

still think i might bring in gerrard and sturridge for mata and rooney because it's likely to be the only 2 matches in the premier league with anything riding on it even if city win on wednesday, everything else including champions league places will be sewn up, relegation will be too if sunderland get a point wednesday as expected. so who knows what kind of teams will be fielded.

as expected, rio wasn't going to play 3 matches in 8 days so anyone with jones should get the 2 matches out of him as he's likely to switch to centre back with rafael coming back at right back.

Is Smalling injured? I had hoped he might feature so that Jones would miss out.

Happy with the 6 points for Sterling. Better than nothing! Really hoping against hope that Rooney and Aguero make an appearance and get a goal each--if not, my week is a bit ruined. 2nd place has gained 34 points on me so far and I am very worried about Man City--especially after Liverpool's slip-up tonight.

Fantasy football gods, be nice to me. :pac:

First round of games over. Opponent has 34 with Pucheon to sub in. So he's 36(-8).

I have 33 with Lallana on 3 to sub in. So I'm 36(-4). That gives me a 4 point lead plus the point I had. 5 points in it effectively.

I had 8 doublers. Mannone, Evra, Kompany, Mata and Yaya should play again. Aguero is a doubt. Chester definitely won't and I don't expect Rooney to. I have Ward on 1 to sub in for Rooney.

He had 9. He also has Mannone, Mata, Yaya and Aguero. Jones and Zab should cancel out my Evra and Kompany. That means I'm left hoping that AJ, Wickham and RVP won't score 4 points or more between them.

My opponent could go into the final GW 10 to 15 ahead the way things are looking. My only hope is if Jones, RVP or Wickham don't start. Here's hoping.

My other hope is that Kompany or Evra manage to pick up a goal or assist or bps. It's a pity Hernandez missed a sitter that would have been an Evra assist on Saturday.

Will it effect how they treat Aguero? They still need to win both games to be sure of the title.

And yes, I realise it could be argued that they only need 4 points but drawing one game is dangerous. They'll be aiming to win both.

Down 11k places to 38k, with a gameweek ranking of 2.3m, makes for awful reading. However at the moment I have 19 points on the bench, 10 guaranteed to come on, the other 9 dependent on Rooney.

With Mannone, Zab, Vlaar, Rosenior, Yaya, Mata, Aguero (c) and Rooney possibly all to play, in addition to points coming off the bench, there's still something left for me in this gameweek.

2 pivotal things will have a big impact

    (a) Will Aguero play?
    (b) Will Rooney miss the game?

If these fall in ny favour, I might just see a dramatic swing in my favour.

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

What are the chances of Mata playing? He's my captain. :o

i'm not aware of him being injured, yeah there's a decent chance smalling could partner vidic either with rafael at right back. or if rafael isn't fully fit to start jones might carry on at right back with smalling playing alongside vidic.
Evans is unlikely to play due to injury.

i think it will, as i said in an earlier post, i don't think they'll "weaken" their team in anyway but at the same time won't feel the need to gamble on players with risks, if there is any doubt over silva and aguero i think one or both will be held back, if they are struggling to break villa down then they can still call upon both.
