3-1 Liverpool would be nice. A Suarez brace and assist to a Coutinho goal.

Anyone but Puncheon or Ward for Palace please.

Actually that would do me perfectly too.

For me (and I admit some of it is hope), the niggling is why wasn't he brought on before 66 minutes? United were chasing the game. Why wasn't he chanced earlier?

You have your star striker on the bench and surely if he's near match fit you give him more than 24 minutes when losing at home.

    Plus:

@ManUtd: .@Persie_Official close to a return. RG: "Robin's looked good in training. Whether tomorrow is too early, we'll just see how he goes today."

Giggs said that on Friday. He's not too assured of his fitness there.

I also think the City and United situations are different. City are chasing the title and needed Aguero back and fit. United aren't chasing anything worthwhile. Why risk starting RVP in a nothing game? If he needs starts, he can start on Sunday.

Aguero also only got 57 minutes in that Sunderland mid week game when he started. Didn't reach the 60.

Wellbeck is also in the equation as well.

Of course, alot of these arguments could also be made about Rooney who I also have.

I would have said he was brought on after 66 mins as that was the plan prior to the game and because nothing was at stake they didnt bring him on earlier. If they had something at stake Im sure he would have come on earlier or perhaps started. Those pre match quotes were what swayed me to get rvp in as I felt he would start the Hull game after a run out against sunderland . I just think the 3 options 1 keep rooney 2 get rvp in for him or 3 go without utd attackers was a shot in the dark no matter what option people went with and I spent all day friday considering all 3 options. No training setbacks and I see rvp and roo up top with rvp coming off after 70 mins.

2 pts behind in my money league main rival sold suarez so really need a suarez masterclass tonight.
    Main differences are
Him wickham, rooney, aguero, yaya capt, johnson
Me Suarez, rvp, aguero capt, yaya, silva

According to United Twitter account, Giggs told MUTV that Rooney is “struggling” to be fit for the Hull game: “He's not quite recovered; we’ll monitor him.” It's not looking good :(

I have nobody playing tonight. I've got a horrible feeling Luis is going to punish me.

Yep seems Rooney has been a disaster for DGW.... I see Giggs is also saying he is looking to get the winner against Hull!!!

although I have rooney, this might actually suit me better as it might mean a start for mata and my 2nd sub coming in for rooney.

Giggs will surely play some part tomorrow, could be his last game at old Trafford as he hasn't signed a new contract and the new manager might not want him.

So he'll def give himself a farewell. I'd also expect him to be on penalties as a) he hasn't scored yet in the league this season, the first time since the premier league began in 92/93 that he hasn't scored and b) if it is to be his farewell game at old Trafford I'm sure he'd like to mark it with a goal and c) he is a reliable penalty taker, usually behind RVP & Rooney on the penalty taking duties so it's not as if it's letting Phil Jones or someone unreliable take one.

I wouldn't mind either if my first sub wasn't Chester! Will have Colback coming in for Ramsey and Ward in for Azpi so would gladly welcome a Palace CS.

I'd love a palace CS too both for FF and non FF reasons.
ward would be my player coming in for Rooney, prob 2 points at best but would take rooney not being involved if It meant mata starting.

I had chester in my starting 11.

I almost forgot that I have Flanagan.

I really regret selling Gerrard for 2pt Eriksen in order to fund 1pt Van Persie. :(

Yeah same as that. Demel with 7 points and hopefully an attacking role for captain mata.
I do hope Rooney misses out now at this stage

I can't see Rooney featuring now after the quotes above.

I still have my doubts re RVP and his fitness. Giggs wouldn't have wanted to lose only his second game in charge. We'll know tomorrow night anyway.

For now, I need a Suarez masterclass. My opponent has Wickham and RVP to come so I need Suarez to match their combined score!

My season was going fantastically until these DGWs started. Hopefully the FA can fix up scheduling next season.

Could be done decent news re Rafael coming back to take a place off Jones at least:

    http://www.manutd.com/en/News-And-Features/Football-News/2014/May/wayne-rooney-is-struggling-to-be-fit-for-the-final-home-game-vs-hull.aspx

When asked about the fitness of Jonny Evans and Rafael, Giggs said that Evans probably won't play again this season, but added: "Rafa has trained in the last few days and looks good. He could be involved in the remaining two games."

SSN reporting YaYa fully fit for Villa, silence on Aguero though which may speak for itself....

Ah now, DGW's are a part of every season cause of cup postponements. Not a lot that can be done about them. In fact this season we have done well as there has been very few (if any) weather postponements leading to DGW's. Cant see anyway to sort the cup fixtures unless they move the FA Cup to midweek and likewise League Cup final

At least next year though wont start with a Chelsea DGW like the last 2 have as they wont be in the European Super Cup next season, that opening DGW the last couple of years made everything a bit wierd and encouraged very early use of the WC

I actually hope Rooney is out, gives me an extra player over my rival, even if it is Ward. Hopefully he gets at least 2 points and Ince doesn't get a run out.

Aguero being fit and beating Wickham's score will likely decide my season.

They are indeed a part of every season but it doesn't mean we have to like them. Like the January wildcard, I'd be glad to see the back of both.

I peaked in GW27. Not surprising it coincided with the start of the doubles and/or teams missing GWs. It's been downhill since then.

They knocked me totally out of my stride unfortunately.

funny, the dgws have revived my season taking me from 9th out of 18 90pts off the lead to 2nd spot 2pts off the lead. only 20pts between the top 4 and prizes are 200, 100, 60. I could finish 4th yet and get nothing.

    bloody exciting though :)

Double gameweeks have been a disaster for me too. I have been on a downhill slide caused by rejigging my team for the doubles.

Confirmed #LFC team v @Official_CPFC: Mignolet, Johnson, Flanagan, Skrtel, Sakho, Gerrard, Allen, Lucas, Sterling, Sturridge, Suarez

Gerrard, Suarez and Puncheon tonight. Would gladly take a 2-0 Palace win. 2 Puncheon penalties.

1-0 Palace would be ideal but I can't see it happening.
