    Such an embarrassment.

    The temerity of them.

Just wondering if thats the first use of 'temerity' in a Liverpool thread?:-)

Best left back in the prem era?
On 4 April 2014, Aurélio announced he was retiring from professional football after a series of injuries which had sidelined him for the entire 2013 season.

Amazing player. One of my all time favorites in Liverpool. An exceptional technical talent. He also had a vision for the game I've rarely seen before or after.

I remember screaming at the tv to take that free kick the way he did. I couldn't believe it when he did and scored.

A great player to watch in full flow.

Wouldn't go that far. There are other better candidates for that.

Irwin, Cole would be the most obvious candidates.

Did Montoya ever sign a new contract?

    Yes, until June 2018.
Also, Valdes on a free?? Would be perfect comp for Mignolet.

He's injured for the next 6/7 months and Barça have said that if his injury prevents him from getting a move, they'll offer him a new deal.

Presume he means for Liverpool and even then I'd give it to Riise based on his first few seasons.

Thread's been open for quite a while now and Knex hasn't posted...I'm getting worried about him.

He normally has about 50 posts of absolute rubbish at this stage.

Probably still embarrassed about his Torres post.

Even then Riise would be my choice. More consistent, plus he wasn't made of glass

If Stewie or Big Andy knocks in a goal that wins us the title i will buy a West Ham jersey with his name on the back and frame it..

Brendan talking a big game in tomorrow's paper if Twitter is anything to go by.

Sounds like he is really pumped the lads up for all out attack saying if anyone can make up the goal difference its us.

and he expects City to drop points

The man is doing everything he can in fairness.

    :)

Watching Willian on the highlights on sky. He would have been superb in our system and his covering and defensive work would have been a massive advantage too.

And how sad Torres has fallen so far:-(

    http://www.theguardian.com/football/2014/may/04/brendan-rodgers-liverpool-manchester-city-title?CMP=twt_gu
Brendan Rodgers doubts whether Manchester City will win their final two games of the season and has insisted it is not beyond the realms of possibility that Liverpool could overturn a sizeable goal difference to win the Premier League.

"It is a tough ask for City," the Liverpool manager said. "To play three games at this stage of the season that really, really matter is a real tough ask. Aston Villa are an incredible team on the counterattack and better away from home, and West Ham on their day can be a really difficult opponent.

"Manchester City need to win all their games which means they will have won five games in a row and they have done that only once this season, so it will be a wee bit new for them. It is certainly not over by a long way. If we can win our two games then it could go a long way to deciding whether we finish top or not. But it is about concentrating on our game against Crystal Palace.

"City's result [at Everton] won't deflate us because we know we have to win against Palace no matter what. We know we have to win at Palace and win against Newcastle. That hasn't changed and that is our focus."

"The only thing that will come from Chelsea is a positive experience for us. I have seen it in training. The players are going again very quickly and when we come up against that game plan again we'll come up with better solutions to break through. It will prove useful for us."

Just imagine big Andy scoring to take points off City. Getting MOTM and drinking the prize non-alcho bottle of bubbly live on tv, singing " You'll never walk alone " as he dedicates his goal to LFC.

Slightly OT but trying to sort something to watch tomorrow nights game against Palace. I had been using a mates Sky Go password all season but he's gone and dropped the football with two games remaining, the sap ! So I heard that some bookies allow you to stream once you set up an account but not sure which ones, I can't see anything on Paddy Powers site. Also just thinking about next season- I had a sub for First Row Sports a couple of years back but it got cancelled and refunded 6 weeks into the season, I'm guessing because they weren't legal ? Just wondering are there any streaming services with Sky Sports or ESPN out there that are legal ? I usually only watch Liverpool games and the odd big 4 clash so can't really justify paying €35 a month to Sky, just looking to see is there a cheaper way to get access.

We can't speak of the dark arts

But you can get Sky Sports in for 1 day or a weekend if your desperate. Think its 10 euro for a day
