Is there a bonus point given if the goal scored is the match winner?

So even though giroud and mert are currently on the same bps, giroud will still get an extra bps and thus 3 bonus pts?

    Yeah

    No Azpi as well.

    >_<

Oh dear god. I was surviving the various disasters but this leaves me with 10 players, 9 if Rooney is a no show. Have let my bench slide lately and its biting me in the ass now! Only had one fit sub in Eriksen.

Kos had delivered today and a second clean sheet and I'd have been happy out.

Is he on the bench? I'd take a one pointer!!

    He's not on the bench:

Chelsea: Schwarzer, Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry, Cole, Lampard, Matic, Salah, Willian, Schurrle, Ba. Subs: Luiz, Torres, van Ginkel, Hazard, Eto'o, Kalas, Hilario.

Norwich: Ruddy, Martin, Ryan Bennett, Turner, Whittaker, Johnson, Snodgrass, Howson, Tettey, Olsson, Elmander. Subs: Bassong, van Wolfswinkel, Fer, Hooper, Bunn, Elliott Bennett, Redmond.

    Referee: Neil Swarbrick (Lancashire)

I've suddenly become a fervent Norwich fan!! Come on the canaries, believe!

PS: Now that's unlucky in fairness :)

    PPS Chelsea clean sheet backed.

Luck plays a small part I agree. I still believe that it more than often works itself out over the course of the season.

As I've said previously, the lads in work discussed luck in the game one year. As was pointed out and agreed then, if luck played such a large part you wouldn't have the same people in and around the top five every year no matter what way the season went.

Luck plays a huge part in every game, though some people will never see that, for example in today's match - clear Penalty for Nowrich, booking (yellow/red) for terry and probably goal for Norwich. the game will probably end up with clean sheet and Terry will get bonus points. So now the person with azpilicueta will get extra screwed over.

Anyone that had Gerrard when Liverpool where getting penalty for fun for a few weeks was luck.

up to 3 GW ago I was neck and neck with a Rival, within one game he went 50 points ahead (1 game not GW) - that is pure luck.

Also Captain choice can have a big influence on your week. When Suarez was flying everyone just gave it to him. But since then it's nearly impossible to pick so if you get lucky you go get 20+ points more then someone else.

If you have the time to spend hours at the game then maybe you can reduce the luck, for example those who bought Rooney early in the week got done, those who had Aguero got done, Ramsey out, Yaya/Silva seem to be nearly out for the season every time their injured but come back, Mata doesn't start/finish games all of a sudden.

Terry incident so annoying. Should have been a penalty and red card leaving him on minus points, instead he'll probably get 8 or 9 points and could even score or assist.

Really looking forward to the season being over next week and getting a break from this, won't be doing the world cup one so I can just enjoy watching matches.

I'd say I'm the only one happy to find out Ramsey didn't play, I have Salah to come in, just hoping Nowich play like they did last week.

    A nice 1 pointer there!

    Wow !

Rooney injured and doubtful for midweek.
Aguero got injured/precautionary substituted and doubtful for midweek.
    Yaya limping when substituted.
    No Ramsey. Apparently slightly injured.
No Azpi. Looks like Mourinho's choice exclusively.

Can we exceptionally have 6 Liverpool players for the last GW :P?

More seriously this GW is turning into a farcical nightmare. But pretty much everyone is in the same boat. Bench could be important now.

Have Delph with 2 and Rosenior with 4 to come in for Ramsey & Azpi. Ironically I'm going to have more DGWers now. Don't know how good or bad it is though, considering their next game.
Will have Ward for Rooney if he doesn't play at all. Shame we can't have 2 keepers on the fielded 11 :D :pac: since Adrian is sitting with 8.

Yeah, but you have to occasionally touch the ball to rack up BPS. Chelsea have over 80% possession!

Working even harder for a clean sheet then while Cole/Cahill/Terry are doing fcuk all for it.....

Yep Terry on for 3 bonus points.

Great, heroic performance from my 3rd sub. The little known underdog Mickey Turner. With my season going down the toilet I know what the narrative will be next Sunday:

A farewell sendoff for a true hero of the boards. The only question is whether to captain him or not.

I have absolutely no sympathy for Azpi owners. You got the benefit last week while Cahill came on late for one point. Swings and roundabouts
