Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin tells the National Rifle Association what she would do to terrorists if she was in charge.

One nut-job talking to several nut-jobs. Was never going to end well :pac:

    Baptism?

But a lot of the terrorists that hate America aren't even Christian!

I don't think she's thought this through at all.

Just remember her if you ever think that US politicians are all alike, and thank god above that the Republicans didnt win the US election.

She may have sunk into the background a little but her branch of conservatives have almost completely taken over the republican party in the USA and the next General Election is in 2016 which means the Noise is going to be starting soon.

You'll be hearing more about these kind of people

The ultimate irony is that America has committed as many terrorist atrocities if not more than any of their supposed terroriest enemies.

I took one for the team and read the whole thing. I can assure you the highlight is this bit; "Mrs Palin, who is reported to have said she is interested in running for the Senate in 2014, added that creating gun-free zones in schools and other public buildings was "stupid on steroids"."

Em, come again Sarah? You want the right to bring guns to school? Mudder a Gawd she's an idiot.

But their actions are in the interest of spreading democracy and preventing further terrorist attacks, therefore justified.

I assume this post was sarcastic.

The State Of Georgia just voted to allow guns in schools. Everywhere actually.

In Airports too. You can walk into Atalanta Airport, one of the busiest in the country, with a gun in a holster.

Cops can ask you if you have a permit but are not allowed to ask to see the permit.

The problem with high school shoot outs was never really due to anyone who legally owned said fire arms. So why would they obey an exclusion zone?

Saying something isn't allowed somewhere, isn't going to stop it from being used there.

It's not handling the problem at all, so it sort of is, "stupid on steroids."

Course it does, sure that's why no one ever gets shot in Ireland.

She's so revolting. From the way she speaks to the way she implies that a terrorist is obviously not a christian. I hate her. Please don't make me see her face more in the run up to 2016.

To quote a line from a book in which you Yossarian are the main character
    "That's some catch, that Catch-22"

No you can't. I'd imagine that the Carabinieri would take a dim view of any such behaviour.

As despicable as Palin is as a person, the US approach of being somewhat carte blanche in their interpretation of the law regarding treatment of Al Quaeda members has doubtless saved countless lives.

American lives maybe but you can be sure many innocent lives have been lost due to it also

Huh? What do you mean "no you cant"?? Did you read the link I posted? The law was passed last week, takes effect July 1st.

When they talk about "certain parts of airports" they mean the check in area before you go through "security".

And as I said, the cops can ask you if you a have permit but cannot ask to see it.

"Ellijay, Georgia (CNN) -- Georgia Gov. Nathan Deal signed a wide-ranging gun bill into law Wednesday that has critics howling and proponents applauding.
House Bill 60, or the Safe Carry Protection Act of 2014 -- which opponents have nicknamed the "guns everywhere bill" -- specifies where Georgia residents can carry weapons. Included are provisions that allow residents who have concealed carry permits to take guns into some bars, churches, school zones, government buildings and certain parts of airports."

Innocent lives have been lost during terror interrogations?

    Really?

Compared to how many that would have been lost in foiled attack plots?

I'm sure some have, You do know that someone in Pakistan or Afghanistan could accuse someone of being a terrorist and collect $5k? Are all of the "terrorists" in Guantanamo guilty? Oh wait they have had no trial so no one knows

How many "foiled attacks" have there been?
