Was grand to be driving around with one arm out the window earlier :D getting breezy out there tho

You'll have to get a left hand drive for the second half of the Summer, even out the tan.

Was home early this eve, around 5 - it was a nice enough evening, bit cold. Had great plans on what I'd do...

In the past hour, its gone to a horrible, stormy, wet cold evening, wind howling and rain running down the windows...

Wont do much putside now :(

Uh oh, still dry here, that doesn't sound good!

Isn't it quick we get used to the few fine days :)

Got the beet in this morning, lucky enough as it's pretty miserable now. Wet cold and windy.

Looking very black here but not a drop of rain.... yet. Contracror agitating tanks. Spreading tomorrow so bit of rain will be welcomed to melt it in.

Spent last two evenings getting lawns into some sort of control.
Hours of mowing and mowing, thankfully it's under control now.

Can feel the rain on the way here but so far just getting cool and misty.

Just checked Met rainfall radar it's getting close. We have 6 acres if grass to sow, looks like we'll make it. Im rolling behind seeder wish he'd drive in a bit.

We were to stitch in grass tomorrow but it looks unlikely now, nice to have this much done

I spent 2 hours strimming ours today and don't even have a third of it done. Could do with a lawnmower.

Where the feck did that wind come from:eek: lights flickering here in the south.

It's the first real windy spell since the procession of storms in January and February and a lot of power lines after the February 12th super storm due to the huge amount of damage then, were only patched back together ready for permanent fixing later. So yeah,80-100kmph gusts in tonight's storm will put some lights out again.
Here in East Wicklow,'twas a lovely evening after a smashing day.
The East wind is getting up now though but it's still dry.

I suppose half acre maybe a bit more.
Half haddnt been mowed late last summer so was paying the price of missing that.

Three hours straight yesterday and one and a half today.

An acre of a site with the house! Might be better off with a disc mower than a lawnmower!

Pi$$ing down here since 9. No real storm though. Heifers behind house all out grazing. You'd think they'd be up under the ditch for a bit of shelter.
