My first ever trip to Ibrox today, interested to see what the stadium is like. I will be back a couple of times over the summer for the 7's in the Commonwealth Games.

The stadium need some work done on it painting etc if you are in the Broomloan stand ( the traditional tic end)or in the Govan stand nearest the it you may also encounter broken seats as some of the Dundee Utd fans decided to trash some of them

We didn't deserve much from that game, after the equalizer it seemed that nobody was bothered to step up and try to push for the winner.

As for McCoist, why the **** would you take Aird out of the game.

The Dubs beat Cork in football today and Dundee Utd easily beating your mob, I'll walk tall in Cork tomorrow on both counts!

3 year shirt sponsorship deal with 32red announced, funny enough no mention of how much they will pay.

No mate, just work down there, don't live there and rarely stay over because I've a couple of young nippers.

Would have a pint in Franciscan Well or The Bier Hausse when I am staying over.

I was delighted with myself with that one, I think it's funny!

I guess the actual amount is based on lots of conditions, whether they make straight promotion from the Championship etc..

At least a three year deal gives some form of security.

I wouldn't be surprised if a sizeable part of the money will be paid up front to keep the club going.

Which gets us absolutely nowhere of course.

Poor old Ally McCoist got a reality check last Saturday.

There a long way off to challenge Celtic.

Think you will find Ally has never said we were anything but a long way off challenging Celtic and most Rangers fans don't want him to be in charge when we do.
But you carry on imagining things

Rangers go in at half time 2-0 up in this one Smith with a shot from just inside the box and Shiels with a nice finish after a lovely through ball from Law

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,704 ✭✭✭Broxi_Bear_Eire

Game finishes 4-0 to Rangers with a penalty from Jig and a very good goal from Law for Rangers 100th league goal of the season

I see yer man easdale is calling on 'loyal' rangers fans to buy season tickets and suggested if money doesn't come administration will instead.

He also cheekily said Rangers won't survive a second administration.

A thread on FF claiming that Sandy Jardine had passed away was deleted, so I hoped it was wrong information but it has now sadly been confirmed as true :(

RIP Sandy, a Rangers legend in every sense of the word :(

    RIP Sandy

He meant a lot to Rangers fans and he will be sorely missed.

I knew he had cancer but was unaware that his condition had deteriorated, it truely is a horrific disease.

Hopefully financial events won't interfere or overshadow what should be a time for the club to honour one of its own.

RIP Sandy Jardine. Great name from the 70s when I first started getting in to football.
