If any of you with PS3's want to make some quick cash for your single player characters, invest in Whiz on the Bawsaq exchange right now! Shares are at $0.15 and will climb to over $1.00 by tonight. Seems R* are still pushing the capture missions .

Went on today and there was an option for "online event" . not misleading at all

ended up on a capture playlist (full lobby in fairness)

But annoying american kids running around like headless chickens doing anything but the mission and talking complete sh1te doesn't do it for me I'm afraid.

Maybe they will have an option in "online event" and fill a 16 player race. Would be a far better idea as its harder to fill a race these days. Sometimes you're lucky to get 4/5 into a race!!!

When you press it once it loads you into a capture mode playlist instead of going directly to gta online.

JP are job points, right?

I always thought they were used so you could tell who in a public lobby was doing missions and who was just running around causing mayhem!

They are used to determine the winner of a playlist I believe, also think they play a part in Heists too.

I jumped online today for the first time in months and I feel like Im playing a different version of the game to everyone else.

First off, I remember the initial loading screening taking a while but not THAT long.

Secondly, the game doesn't seem to have any life outside of crew meet-ups (I presume). Most of the time I'm in a 5 person server and when I go to start a job it ends up being 1v1 or 2v2 and, more often than not, on a TERRIBLE user created job.

Am I missing something? I thought my connection could be holding me back from the majority of players, as I got one error message about incompatible connections or something like that, but I have NAT type 2 so that shouldn't be a problem.

I'm on PS3.

Seemed like I was getting better games today until they kept getting stuck on the 'Loading Job' screen. May just reinstall the game data and see if that helps.

Also, hosts who start team games when there's only three players in the lobby should be banned :mad:

Maybe try the reinstall. It cant do any harm I suppose.
Im guilty of starting lobbies before they are full especially the missions but thats mainly because they are too easy even on hard. I do give people the chance to buy armour though. If there is 4 people in a six person lobby ill start the mission.

I'm having similar issues. And today I couldn't even get on. I doubt it's my internet connection though because it's working fine on everything else.
