Click on "See all ads from this seller" and you know that ad smells :)

You come across as a bit odd in that ad, no offence meant but you'd be better served removing the piece about test drives and deposits.

Not much NCT or tax, body kit and over optimistic price tag too IMHO

I'd remove the test drive bit, you'll know who is genuinely interested party and who isn't when they come to view.

Reasonable price but I really don't like that front bumper, have you got the original?
Good to see an original wheel in it too.

Was gonna post that a few days ago but the bumper put me off a bit. Bit too much Rx- 7 in it.

I'm not keen on the bumper either. I'm 41 not 20. It was on it when I got it and I don't have original. I was going to get an original but with side skirts the original might look a bit high.

Update looks better and I'm with you on that bumper, you're damned if you do and damned if you don't

My advice would be to source an original front bumper and get a Garage Vary style front lip to go with it.
It gives a much better look and keeps everything nice and aggressive looking without looking Max Power.

I say GV style because you can get high quality lips from JapStyle.org for around €60-€70 and a real one would set you back double that or easily more.
You'd probably someone out there to buy the bumper you have on it now too, get a bit of money back that way.

The rest of the interior is post facelift though. The odometer is post facelift too. I would have thought it was a base spec British model but it has a linea terra badge on the boot. The post facelift estate is very rare anyway.

The japs really struggled to make a decent looking estate. Most of them are awful looking from the back. The opposite of alot of german yolks that look much better as an estate than a saloon.

It hasn't got a pre facelift dashboard. It's got a pre facelift radio pod fitted to a facelift dashboard, most probably because the original radio packed in(a known issue) and the location in which that radio is in is a tight fit and harder to see.

The pre facelift dashboards in this country were grey for the most part.

Yeah even Honda made a mess of the Accord back in 03/04 when they tried the estate version. The new Auris estate looks a bit out of proportion too. The Avensis estates aren't bad though.

The base spec British corolla was more sparse on equipment than the Irish Terra model. It lacked abs and color coding and actually came with a beige interior.

The mk 2 evensis estate is definitely an exeption. Looks much better than the saloon. Rare and expensive, not bangernomics money anyway. they start at around 3000 euro.

Love them and the civic aerodect is nice too. If I could find one of them accords with 1.8vtec I'd be straight there. Rare as fook and will probably have the price to reflect. The newer shape >02 leagacies would be another.

This is the only aerodeck I've seen in the last few months. Couldn't afford to run a 2.2 though :(

I like those aero decks but they aren't the best looking IMO. One of the best looking jap estate IMO is this

It's based on the VW Polo so it should be alright.

    Good value imo.

    Here's a 2000 1.6 Civic Aerodeck for €850:

not even remotely related to each other

Both of them English reg and in England. Pretty sure that rules them out of the thread.

Was thinking the same myself when I read that comment. Having drove a Polo I'd be thinking (hoping) the Getz is a better built car. Put it this way, wouldn't want to be worse...
