We need someone who knows how to win, is proven with winning league titles and competing against the big teams.
    Needs to be high profile.

Ryan Giggs does not fit the profile.

+1 on this. I will however have no issue with Giggs looking after the team for the next 3 games. Iain Dowie is full of crap. How the man has a job!

Where does your inside track come from?

I have a family member in the English sports media who is pretty high up.

Ohh and take Giggs @14/1 to be the next manager.

    fill your boots.

If they sack Moyes, I would assume that they have spoken to a replacement?

I think the club have to announce his sacking to the New York Stock Exchange first before they publicly announce it.

I see you have said you have a family member in the sports media, but again, how can I take it as gospel?

    Get Guus Hiddink i say.

No longer available, he's taking over the Holland job after the World Cup. It'll be Louis Van Gaal with Giggs assistant and the long term plan being Giggs to manage afterwards.

Giggs as interim would be fine, Giggs as permanent would be ridiculously stupid

They probably said the same thing about Guardiola down Catalonia way 6 years ago. Giggs could be the next Pep.

Doesn't apply to interim managers also, I'll pass.

Sums up the job he has done that if the stories are true and he goes, it will be the highlight of the season for many a fan.

It's like waiting to hear news of a big signing. It seems like it's done but you are just waiting on Utd to **** it up.
