Guy in front of me got up and left Noah about an hour and a half into it last week. I've been jealous of his wisdom ever since....

I have never walked out of a movie.
I find it pointless after paying 10+ euro to see something. But I have stopped watching movies when at home. Thor 2 being one recently. Just wasnt doing anything for me despite really liking the first one.

But I guess when you get down to the nitty gritty if a movie took your money it succeeded. Could be utter crap. But from the entertainment side of things its really really bad when you have to switch something off.

Twice, once at the premier of Transformers 2 (managed an hour, couldn't take any more) and once at the world premier of Antiviral at the Toronto International Film Festival, which is the worst movie I've ever seen (half of)

    *edit*

Three times, I forgot I went to see one of those crappy spoof movies, possibly Disaster Movie, when I was in Birmingham early before a Villa game and left after about 15 minutes

I cant believe the some of the walk outs, wedding crashers, get him to the greek and armageddon! while not the greatest movies of all time, are fairly decent and nowhere even close to walk out level IMO. The last one I walked out of and possibly the first ever was Identity Thief, I cant even summon the words to describe it, as in it was so bad, it was actually annoying. A mate does a walker on about 1 in 2 or 3 movies, we dont pay in, so isnt really the same though... Think my bro walked out on napoleon dynamite...

Transformers 2 actually left me angry, absolute septic tripe.
    Even Bay apologized for it.

I wanted to see Public Enemies, but the buds said no

A friend of mine recommended that to me, for some unearthly reason. Had to walk out as well.

I wouldn't mind, but I was watching it in my own home.

I remember being ready to walk out of Miami Vice. Can't remember what made me stay in the end.

    What an awful movie.

Never. I've only ever even considered it once and that was during Bridesmaids.

I actually wish I had left.

not been to the cinema for some 50 years.. but this thread reminded me of a school theatre visit when i was a young teacher.

it was one of those modern productions in a small circular theatre and i had to leave before the end to catch the last train.

macbeth it was, and how was i to know all the braw highland warriors would rampage in from the back of the theatre and down the aisles...met them head on...the look of horror on my head otf depts face..embarrassed at me of course

    Once

Was watching Daredevil and the old man sitting beside me sh*t himself literally. The smell was overpowering and the film was terrible. We actually had to go the long route out, practically the whole line of seats, as the man didn't seem to want to let us out.

We know what he did as when we finally got out the other side he had decided to get up and go to the toilet so as he was walking in front of it was falling out his trouser legs in clumps.

Walked out on the Bourne Legacy after over an hour, utter boring garbage.

I loved the original trilogy, but that was a truly awful film.

Walked out of Independence Day. I even remember the moment when the "president" got into the plane I thought thats enough for me, I also had a similiar moment reading angels and demons where I threw the book at the wall.

Nope never walked out of a movie, I'm so stingy about money I would stay because I feel it would be a waste of money to leave in the middle of it. Then again, i'm also very careful about movies I want to go see. So I generally avoid the predictably bad and shallow ones.

Walked out of Independence Day back in 1996.
These days il always watch any film until the end because that last few mins could turn the film around. Look at sixth sense. Only the ending made it an ok film.
