Jose Mourinho is going to be a nightmare in the press for the next two weeks talking crap trying to intimidate the FA and match officals before the match.

Between our match against them and Atletico's the English media are going to be living off every single word that comes from his mouth.

I do think Brendan and his team(not playing team) have been brilliant at taking the pressure off the players. Where Brendan put his foot in a few times at the start of the job he has grown into the role he has dropped the buzz words and phrases.

He doesn't sh1t on the ref's if something goes against us. Which is alot better than bashing them week in week out even if that's what we all want to do.

Brendan is now showing that his coaching of the players is not just good but amazing and with off the pitch stuff he is also showing what a manager of the team he is.

4 games to go and we are just about back in the CL what a season we have had so far.. Role on Norwich I'd take a scrappy 1 nil victory right now.

Don't post often. But avid thread follower. What a year. What a team. What a rush. Way up there with 2001 2005. Hairs standing on back of my neck during YNWA. Something else standing when coutinho scored. Enjoying ever second of this. Was wondering peoples thoughts on POTY nominations though. My thoughts fwiw: Suarez, aguero, hazard, yaya as definites. Not sure if Liverpool or city will get three so either Gerard or sturridge. And then I'm not sure, Terry? Cech? Who from Everton Coleman? Rooney maybe. Silva? Llalanna? Any thoughts. YPOTY, Sterling, coutinho, ramsey, lukaku, januzay(sp), shaw.

I honestly don't think he knows what to think or say about us really. Liverpool were never in his sites when he came back to England and Brendan Rodgers getting Liverpool where they are now was never in his plans for the season. He set out from the start setting his Chelsea up as the underdogs for the league. If he won he was a genius if he lost the league to City Chelsea were always the underdog. We have thrown a big spanner into his plan and I think he really doesn't know what to do about it.

I'd guess Suarez, Gerrard, Yaya, Hazard, Lallana and Silva.

As far as I know Hazard qualifies for YPOTY so he will win that. Sterling, Shaw, Ramsey will be nominated. Probably Januzai and Barkley the other two.

I don't see Rodgers too bothered about mourinho mind games. It will be unbearable to listen to though. He will talk about all the penalties Liverpool have gotten, Suarez diving but unfortunately for him the media want Liverpool to win the league.

He may not throw the players off.

But Jose knows how to intimidate officals and ref's better than any manager in the world today. He knows to to train his players to play every dirty trick there is on the pitch. These are the things we will come up against when we play Chelsea.

But we need to worry about Norwich before we get into Jose and his dirty tricks.

Jose at the moment has only 3 games on his mind he won't be thinking about Sunderland this weekend. He will start setting his plans on upsetting Atletico and Liverpool from now till those games.

I'm surprised the mods haven't cracked down on all the "If Chelsea win all their matches" or "If City win all their matches" posts cos they're a ****ing hell of a lot more annoying than a bloody panda gif at this stage.

If Norwich win all their matches, were screwed.

Sakho isn't a good passer lads you're kidding yourselves, he keeps putting our fullbacks under pressure with really poor, strongly hit passes. He absolutely launches into tackles sometimes that tick all the blood and thunder boxes, but none of the composed proper defending that we needed.

I'm not saying he's a useless piece of **** or anything like that but him and Skrtel together in particular are terrifying, I'd almost play Kolo and Sakho or Skrtel and Agger.

Really disagree with you about Sakho, especially his passing. He looks so awkward with his passing but he finds a player every time. He gets his head up when he has the ball and isn't afraid to pick a pass along the deck through midfield to Suarez or Sturridge.

His passing stats prove what I suspected as well, he rarely misplaces them.

He's got the best accuracy in the squad hitting an average of 49 passes a game from 15 appearances and has 92% accuracy.

I think he's the best defender in the squad, too but he lunged into that challenge on Dzeko when he shouldn't have.

I don't know if there's anyone around Tipperary on here, but does anyone know the best place to watch the rest of the games? Can't watch it with the boys cos they'll be talking sh1t and annoying me and I can't watch at home because the father is ready to throw me out from the shouting I'm doing.

A bridge named after one of the victims of the Munich crash was defiled. Can't post a link cos I'm on the phone but check the journal.

Maybe we should do the same here? Close the thread for the day.

Might get a bit of work done too.

Liverpool thanked for growth in giant Panda population
A Beijing zoo keeper has thanked Liverpool FC this week after it emerged that the endangered Giant Panda population has increased by 179% this year after he installed a giant screen showing Liverpool games last August.

The Zoo which currently hosts 21 adult Pandas has had difficulty in getting them to breed which has caused growing concerns that the giant panda may become extinct as soon as the year 2040 " In-breeding among pandas, who are notoriously selective when it comes to mating in captivity, leads to reduced resistance to disease and lower reproductive rates" head zookeeper Michael Fangozou told the Chicago tribune.

That is until earlier this year when the zoo took the unusual step of installing a 60" projecter in the habitat."To be honest I spend 12 hours a day in with the Pandas ensuring that they get the best care and looking after the sick.As a Liverpool fan myself I couldn't bear missing every single game as i had done for the last year so i decided to install this projector. It was only when i noticed how excited i would see them get as the game approached when i realized that Pandas could have a connection with Liverpool FC.I believe they realize just how close that Liverpool came to extinction under the ownership of Tom Hicks and George Gillet back in 2007 and have battled back to become the best again despite the odds being stacked against them.Pandas are the Liverpool FC of the animal kingdom" Michael Fangzou passionately told us.

It has emerged that after every Liverpool game the Pandas become so worked up and frenzied that they have to calm themselves down and this usually leads to mating and general good times among the group. After 4 years with no pregnancies it has emerged that 5 of the group are expecting with the first due on the 13th of May which is 2 days after Liverpool's final league game.

"We are incredibly excited and want to thank Liverpool FC for everything. They will always be friends of the Pandas. The first Panda will be named after Liverpool legend Jon Flanagan we will be calling him "Flanno" Michael Fangzou happily remarked.

There are idiots in every fan base. No shortage of silly things said on this forum too, tbh.

It was brainless though, you would have to wonder what went through their heads thinking that was a good idea, if any thought at all went through it.

We could have 4th locked up in 24 hours if Arsenal don't win tomorrow night.
Who'd have thought back in August that it would almost be an unnoticed landmark achived in midApril.
